"Tal? You're Alive?" I gasped struggling to stand from the blow I took as I saw her move towards Stiles helping him to his feet while she kept her eyes on me.
"Your father is close by...my car is around the corner. Go...I'll be there soon." she ordered handing Stiles her keys and he ran to her car leaving just Tal and I. She moved forward towards me, her hazel eyes fueled with rage as I got to my feet.

"It worked...I knew I didn't kill you." I started when Tal grabbed me by my throat and slammed me hard against my truck. Her grip on my throat was a lot tighter then I did to hers which told me she didn't believed my sympathetic self. "Tal..I'm sorry. I had no other choice. If you lived then the Dread Doctors would take you again. I was protecting you."
