Cheryl's POV
"Baby! Come and look at the news!" I yelled to my girlfriend. "Coming!" Toni called back as she climbed up the stairs. "What's up?" She asked as she sat down on my bed. "Netflix was interrupted by this warning sign. It's on my phone too." I told her as I showed her my phone. "Damn, must be serious then." She told me as I held her in my arms, waiting for the countdown on the TV to finish.

"I'm sorry for the interruption, and we apologize for any of the inconvenience that it may have caused, but Riverdale is now on quarantine due to a few random deaths. We think that a virus is going around as over twenty people have already died, all with the same symptoms, which is blue lips paired with a foaming mouth, and sometimes seizures. We don't know how long the quarantine will last, but be prepared for daily updates."

"Shit..." Toni muttered as we both sat up and realized the seriousness of it. All of a sudden, a load siren roared throughout the whole of Riverdale. "Toni..." I whimpered as my eyes filled with tears. "It's ok baby, I've got you, we'll be ok." Toni assured me as she stroked my hair with one hand and my back with the other.

Just a little while later, a knock was placed forcefully on our front door. "Let's get it together." I whispered as I pulled Toni out of the bed. We stepped down the stairs and opened the door. "Toni the trailer park is ruined! The trailers have been trashed!" SweetPea claimed as he stepped inside with Fangs, Jughead, Kevin and Betty at his side. "Fuck..." Toni sighed as they took their coats off. "Stay here." I blurted out.
"Really?" Fangs asked amazed as he looked up at me. "Of course. This house is big enough for us all to share, and I'm not gonna take up space that I don't need. I'm no longer that girl." I sighed with a small, sad smile. "Thank you, baby." Toni smiled as she kissed my cheek. "Anytime, TT." I smiled back.

"My dads dead." Jughead flatly told us as we all sat in silence. "No..." Toni gasped as Jughead sobbed against his girlfriend's warm embrace. "He's in some hospital at Greendale." Jughead told us through gritted teeth. "I'm so, so sorry Jug." I whispered.
"It's ok, Cheryl. I just want to know why. Why did he die?" Jughead yelled in pure frustration.
"We'll find it out, Juggy. We always do." Betty sighed as she leant into Jughead's hug.

Just as Kevin and Fangs finished cooking, there was another knock on the door. "Archie? Ronnie?" I gasped as I saw their desperate faces. "Come in!" I told them as Toni appeared by the side of me. "My mom and dad are dead!" Veronica sobbed as she sat down. "My dad's dead." Archie whispered in shock as he pulled his girlfriend in for a hug. "Do you guys have a place to stay?" I asked them as Kevin handed out his and Fangs' spaghetti. "No, not really. The Pembrooke is to big, and Archie's house would be too heartbreaking to stay at." Veronica sighed as she finished her mouthful of spaghetti. "Well, you guys could stay here if you want? The others are staying here too, but no pressure." Toni smiled as she took a sip of her water. "Really? Is that ok with you, Cheryl?" Archie asked as he whipped his mouth with a napkin. "Of course it is Archie. We've got to stick together now." I smiled as I wolfed down my spaghetti.

"So, where is everyone sleeping?" Fangs asked me after we had washed up. "Oh yeah... Everyone upstairs!" I ordered as I ran to the top of the staircase. "What's up, Cher?" Toni asked as she wrapped her arm around my neck. "We need to sort out the sleeping arrangements. Obviously, Toni and I will sleep in our room, Bughead can sleep in my mother's old room, Varchie can have the first guest room, and Kangs can have the second guest room... which leaves Pea with... Jason's room." I gulped as I assigned Pea his room. "Are you sure, Cheryl?" Pea asked, feeling honored, yet a strange amount of pressure was now added into the tall boys broad shoulders. "Yes. Jason will understand." I smiled as I straightened my posture. "Thank you, Cheryl. Really, I mean it." Pea smiled with an understanding look in his eyes. "No problem." I smiled back to the boy.

After Toni had showed everyone their rooms, she walked back to me and immediately fell into my arms. "What a day." She sighed as she snuggled up into my chest. "I know." I sighed back as I moved my hand up and down her arm. "It'll be fine Cher, were overreacting, the quarantine will probably be over in a few days." Toni smiled. You see, the thing is, I know when something is bothering or upsetting Toni, so I could see her unsureness of her own words. "Toni, there's already been over twenty deaths. I don't think this quarantine is going anywhere, but neither is our love." I smiled sadly at my beautiful girlfriend. "I love you, Cheryl." Toni smiled through a few small tears. "I love you too, baby girl." I smiled as I kissed away her tears.
