The Morning

Cheryl's POV
"Babe..." I begin as I reach out for Toni.
"It's ok, Cher, it'll be alright. I'm here. Forever and always." Toni reassured me as she linked our pinkie fingers and kissed them, indicating that I do the same, which I did. "I love you." I sighed as I rested my forehead against hers. "I love you too." Toni smiled as she kissed my forehead. "Why can't we be like that?" Theo sighed as Jess leant against his shoulder. "We're thirteen..." Jess chuckled softly.
"Touché." Theo chuckled before wrapping a protective arm around Jess. "Why can't we be like that?" Otis asked Rose.
"Because you'd never hold me like how Theo holds Jess." Rose sighs with a slight chuckle before rolling her eyes. "Oh, is that right?" Otis asks before wrapping both of his arms around Rose. "Oh god." Rose giggled lightly. "Young love." Toni smiled before linking our hands together and allowing me to lie between her legs and against her chest. I nodded slowly before closing my heavy eyelids.

I awoke to movement on my own body. I slowly opened my eyes to see two babies crawling over me. "Good morning." I smiled before picking them up and using Toni as a backrest. "Aren't you two the cutest?" I giggled as I kissed Oliver's head (one of the two babies I was holding). "Good morning, gorgeous." Toni grinned as she kissed my cheek.
"Morning, baby." I smile as I hand her Emma (another one of the babies). "Hello, cutie!" Toni grinned before kissing Emma's head. "Hey! Those kisses are for me!" I fake pouted to my girlfriend.
"Don't worry, beautiful, I save the best ones for you." Toni grinned before kissing my lips softly. "Good." I smiled before standing up and finding Veronica and Archie cooking breakfast with Kevin and Fangs. "Morning, early birds." Toni welcomes as we walked into the kitchen to help. "Morning, wake Jug and Betty up for us." Fangs pleaded as he put some more toast into the toaster. "Ugh, fine." Toni grinned before she grabbed my free hand and led me towards where Jug and Betty were. On our way we gave Josie Oliver and Emma, Josie was reluctant at first, but we honestly, really didn't care at that point. "Betty." I whispered softly as I gently shook my cousin. "We need you in the kitchen." Toni whispered to the ponytail-wearing girl. "Mmm." Betty hummer before rolling over. "Betty." I groaned at my cousin.
"Ugh, fine. Jug wake up, we've gotta help these guys in the kitchen." Betty sighed as she shook Jughead awake. "Ugh, fine, only because there's food involved." Jughead groaned before getting up with his girlfriend.

After breakfast was made, we all changed the babies and dressed them and the toddlers. After everyone was dressed, everyone under eleven went to play, but everyone twelve and over sat in a circle and talked about a plan. "So, if we move somewhere with other people, we're gonna infect them with whatever we have." Drew sighed as he sat down next to Rocco.
"True, Drew." Pea sighed as Toni pulled me into her lap. "So, are we just gonna sit around until we die?" Rose asked everyone. "No, we're gonna find a doctor, or someone that can and will help us." Betty told everyone. "We need to tell somebody political to try and help us." Josie pointed out.
"We need a lawyer to help us fight the case and win back our freedom." Veronica told everyone.
"When are we gonna try and find these people?" Hugo asked. "Plus, they've gotta be under the age of twenty one." Rocco sighed.
"For gods sake." A sixteen year old Northsider called Connor sighed in frustration. "No offense, but a lawyer, political person and doctor under the age of twenty one may not be the best." A fifteen year old girl named Savanah chuckled. "No." Savanah's older brother, James (who was seventeen) , sarcastically replied. "Oh, shut up." Savanah sighed as she gently shoved James' shoulder, who laughed in response.
"Savanah's right though, young people aren't gonna necessarily help us." Josie shrugged.
"Yeah." I sighed sadly.
"Well, I guess it'll have to do." Theo shrugged.
"I guess it will have to." Toni sighed before she kissed my head.
