Rescued

Toni's POV
When we got back to the police station, Rosa gave Cheryl and I her leather jackets, ripped jeans, shoes and black T-shirts. "You suit them babe." Cheryl smirked at me. "I mean, they're  my style, so I like them too. Thank you, Rosa." I smiled back to the other girls."No problem." Rosa smirked at me happily. Jake gave Pea and Fangs some of his clothes and Hugo and Otis were bought jeans, tops, shoes and a jacket each.

"Ok, so who's coming with us?" Amy asked as she buttoned up her blazer. "I want to, but Cheryl won't let me." I fake pouted, causing everyone to laugh.
"I will." Pea offered as he sat up in his chair.
"Is that ok?" Jake asked everyone.
"Yeah." Everyone nodded contently.
"Ok, wear this and take this." Jake smiled as he gave Pea a bulletproof vest and a gun.

"Nine-Nine, lets go!" Rosa ordered as everyone ran out. "Good luck, SweetPea." I muttered under my breath. "Well, we've got this place to ourselves." Fangs sighed with a small chuckle. "Mhmm." I hummed. "What should we do?" Fangs asked.
"I wanna cuddle Cheryl." I sighed as I looked at Cheryl. "Come here, baba." Cheryl chuckled before she pulled me into a tight hug. I kissed her cheek and she kissed my head before we pulled away. "We good?" Otis laughed as Hugo smiled widely.
"Mhmm. Anyway, Rosa said that we could do anything we wanted except from leave." I shrugged as Cheryl held my hand. "I'm tired." Hugo admitted.
"Same." Otis yawned. They were right, we have been up for nearly two whole days. "Let's sleep, I'll stay awake just Incase." I told everyone.
"Ok, see you later." Hugo yawned as he lay down on the floor next to his brother and Fangs. "Lay on my, baby." I told Cheryl, who smiled before she lay her head in my lap, allowing me to stroke her hair.

I just sat and thought to myself for about two hours.

I thought about Cheryl, Riverdale, my friends that have passed away. I thought about everything. I also silently cried tears for everyone who didn't make it out. I then thought having how lucky we were that we survived this.

Out of nowhere, the Nine-Nine and all of the kids from Riverdale ran in, immediately awakening everyone. "You ok?" I asked the Nine-Nine.
"He's in jail. For life." Rosa smirked as she ran her hand through her long, black, wavy hair. "The kids are going to an orphanage, but siblings have to stay together and you have to adopt two, not just one, so that they don't feel alone. Everything will be consumed to them when they're older." Amy smiled proudly. "Thank you." Cheryl smiled gratefully as she sat on my lap. "You're welcome, it's our job." Jake smiled happily. "Wait, what about us?" Hugo asked the police. "Toni and I will adopt you." Cheryl nodded quickly. "Really? Toni?" Otis asked happily. "Of course we will." I smiled as I kissed Cheryl's head. "When the adoption people come you can sign the papers." Detective Boyle smiled at us.
"Oh, by the way, this is Gina and this is Captain Raymond Holt." Charles smiled as he introduced us. "Nice to meet you." I smiled at them both before I shook their hands, Otis, Hugo, Fangs and Cheryl mirroring my actions.

After the adoption center came to pick up the kids and Cheryl and I signed the papers to adopt Hugo and Otis, the Nine-Nine gave us food and Rosa let us sleep at her house. Cheryl and I shared the master bedroom, Fangs took one couch, Pea on another couch, Hugo and Otis shared the spare bedroom and Rosa slept on the other couch.

"This is one hell of a journey." Cheryl chuckled to me. "We have kids." I chuckled back to her as we got into bed. "Mhmm." Cheryl yawned.
"Lets go to sleep, goodnight baby, I'll see you in the morning." I whispered to Cheryl as I held her close to me. "Goodnight, TT."

When Cheryl and I woke up, we got dressed into the clothes that Rosa had given us for today before we brushed our teeth with new toothbrushes and then we went into he kitchen, where Rosa and Fangs were already dressed and making breakfast. "You're up early." Rosa smiled at us as we sat on a couch.
"I guess we are." I chuckled as I looked at a clock that read '7:30'. "Smells nice." Hugo smiled as he and Otis walked in, dressed and ready for the day. "Want some pancakes?" Rosa offered with a small smirk. "Yes please." We all smiled as we sat down at the table.

After we ate, we walked to the Nine-Nine (it's only a couple of blocks away). "Rosaaaaa!" Jake smiled as he greeted his co-worker. "Jake." Rose nodded as she sat down at her desk. "What we doing today?" Rosa asked Jake. "We're going back to Riverdale to get your guy's stuff." Any smiled as she gave Jake, Rosa, Me, Hugo, Cheryl, Otis, Fangs and Pea coffee.
