Toni's POV
Once the bodies were all in the trucks, Kevin and Archie drove them to the field near Archie's dads company."Hey guys, shall we go to the Whyte Wyrm?" I asked the kids. "Yeah." All of them sighed.
I picked up two babies while Cheryl held three of the toddlers hands, the boys carried some of the young ones and Veronica drive the car back to Thistle House. After the walk, we entered the building to find the walls painted white and all of the dark and dangerous things were gone. "Yo, when did you have time to do this?" Pea asked the younger Serpents.
"Well, I doubt that the kids would want to live in a dark and depressing home, so we found some cans of white paint in the back and did what we had to do. Also, the dangerous things are in the... you know." A thirteen year old Serpent can Hugo smiled. Hugo was referring to the secret room in the basement that only Serpents knew about. "We've cleaned the toilets too, and we've made the rooms upstairs into changing rooms, there's one for eleven - nineteen year old boys (nineteen because nobody here is older than nineteen), there's one for one - ten year old boys, there's one for eleven - nineteen year old girls, and there's one for one - ten year old girls. There's a baby changing room near the toilets and this half of the downstairs is for sleeping, this part is for food and drinks, and this part is for playing, and if you just want to chill/relax, there's a room next to the changing rooms upstairs." Otis, Hugo's twin brother, smiled. "When did you have the time to do this?" I chuckled in shock. "Us Serpents are fast workers." Otis smiled."Ok, well, we're gonna need beds or something to sleep on." Fangs but his lip as he put down the kids he was holding. "Well, we could get mattresses from the houses?" Josie suggested as she shrugged her shoulders. "Ok, good idea. Who wants to go and get mattresses?" Cheryl asked the kids.
"We'll get them." Hugo smiled as he gestured towards him, his brother and his five Serpent friends. "We'll go." Some Northside boys smiled as they smiled at The Southside boys. "Ok, that's good. What about clothes?" Veronica asked.
"Oh yeah. We'll have to raid houses." I sighed sadly.
"Ok, well do that later, but what about showers and stuff?" Cheryl asked.
"Well, the trailer park coulda been an option, but that's destroyed." Fangs sighed sadly as the boys left to get mattresses. "Well, there's a gym just across the street, so we could go there." Archie shrugged.
"Yeah, good. Is that everything?" I asked the group.
"I think so..." Cheryl nodded slowly.
"Ok, Fangs, Pea, Ronnie, Josie Archie, Kevin, go and find everyone's clothes, as many as possible." I ordered as I saw Kevin return. "Ok, what will you and Cheryl do?" Pea asked as he put on his jacket.
"We'll look after the kids." Cheryl smiled as she kissed my hand. "Ok." Fangs smiled as they ran outside to find clothes."Ok, let's do this." Cheryl smiled as she walked up to the kids. "Ok, so, who wants to play a game?" Cheryl asked them. "Me!" The little kids squealed excitedly.
"Eh." The older kids replied.
"What game should we play?" I asked them all.
"Duck duck goose!" A four year old boy grinned.
"Ok." I smirked as everyone sat in a circle.
"Rules as that everyone under nine can run, but if you're older than nine you have to hop." Cheryl smiled as she sat down. "Who's it first?" I asked.
"Me!" A young girl around the age of six smiled.
"Duck... duck... duck... duck... duck... duck... duck... duck... goose!" She squealed as she tapped a fourteen year old girl on the head. The older girl smiled and hopped around the circle, in a desperate attempt to catch the girl, but she was too late as the little girl sat back down in the older girls current position, laughing hysterically. The game then went on like that until the boy that requested we played the game fell, but I caught him at the last second. "Phew, that was close." Cheryl sighed as she kissed my head. "Yeah it was." I sighed in relief as I put the kid on my lap. "How about we learn something about each other?" Cheryl suggested.
"Yeah." Everyone smiled as they all sat back down in a circle. "Ok, my name is Cheryl, and I'm seventeen. My girlfriend is Toni and I love her very much." Cheryl smiled as she looked at me in pure admiration. "Ok, my name is Toni, I'm seventeen, I love Cheryl very much too, and she makes me very happy." I smiled at everyone as I kissed Cheryl's cheek softly. "What about you, little guy?" I asked the boy that was sat on my lap. "I'm Thomas, I'm four, and I like the colour blue." Thomas smiled as he clapped his hands. "I'm Hannah, I'm twelve and I like makeup." Hannah smiled to everyone.
"I'm Charlotte, I'm twelve and I like dogs." Charlotte grinned to everyone. After everyone had their turn, the boys returned with the mattresses and our friends returned with bags full of clothes. "Ok, let's sort the clothes out." Cheryl grinned as all of the kids ran off and started playing.
