Chapter 6 - "I missed you"

I turned the knob opening the door slowly, closing it behind me.

A curious but familiar scent reached my nose.

"Im here..." I said leaving my jacket on the hanger right next to the door.

"Im in the living room!" A voice replied, my mum.

I walked towards the closed door which was unusual. Just when i opened it two big arms embraced my body into a bone-crashing hug.

I took a few seconds before i wrapped my arms around the tall figure.

"I missed you little girl" His unmistakable voice whispered in my ear before placing a kiss on my right cheek.

After some seconds that lasted for hours we parted the hug making eye contact.

His blonde hair was now short and spiked up perfectly, his green eyes gazing vividly and his small lips curved into a smile, nothing changed, just the age. He looked stronger, probably he has been going to the gym.

"Rick..." I mumbled feeling a tear roll down my cheek due to the happiness of his presence.

My brother Rick, is back.

I saw three other figures behind him, tilting my head I descried my mum, a tall young looking girl with long cascade wavy brunette hair down to her waist and a boy with short dark hair quite muscular looking too.

"Oh, yeah, This is my girlfriend Danielle and that is Lucas my lad" He spoke getting off the way so i could see them better.

"Hi, nice to meet you" The stunning girl said giving me a small hug and a kiss. She was dropead gorgeous, her face had no flaws and she was tall skinny but curvy, she could easily be a model.

"Rick always talks about you" She flashed me a smile showing her perfect alienated white teeth.

I nodded my head not really knowing what to say.

"So you must be Callie" The other boy said with a small smirk on his lips crossing his arms up to his tough chest.

"Your brother has a few days off college so I invited him to stay with his friends here" My mom stated not containing her enthusiasm.

Rick tapped my shoulder various times to get my attention.

Turning around I met his beautiful smile. I noticed a small velvet crimson box on his hand held up for me to see it.

I smiled slightly confused. He slowly opened the box revealing a beautiful platinum necklace.

"This is for you" He whispered picking up the piece carefully.

"Rick you didn't have to buy me anything" I said still amused by his present.

"You are my little sister and you deserve the best" he said placing eat end of the necklace around my neck fixing it at my back.

I checked the inscription.

"Callie, the best sister."

My eyes started to get watery and in one last movement i jumped.back into my brothers arms.

"Thank you so much" I said, my head buried in his chest.

"Come on and get dress Call, we are going to the movies together" He parted the hug side smiling.

I frowned for a second, Going out?
