An hour passed by and i still remained inside the bathroom thanking God that nobody entered it.

Nobody misses me, nobody wants me here.

Finally wiping my last tears I left the toilets making sure there weren't many people outside.

I checked the time on my phone. It was P.E lesson and if I didn't hurry i was gonna be late.

Rushing through the corridors I finally made it to the gym.

Doubting a little i pushed the doors open and walked slowly to the crowd of people sitting on the floor.

"Well Miss Buston finally appeared" Mr Taylor, our P.E teacher mocked.

All heads turned to me. Some people started whispering probably about my looks and the reason of them.

"Sorry Sir..." I mumbled looking at the floor.

"Is everything alright? What happened to your face?" He asked frowning crossing his arms to his chest.

"I fell" i disposed to say sitting down away from the others.

He gestured in dismiss going back to the main theme.

"Today we have security in water so I want you to go in partners and 'rescue' each other just as I taught you in the previous lesson" He stated before everyone stood to make their way to the changing rooms.

I followed the girls, being the last. I went to my changing locker at the back of the room, thankfully this year my locker was apart from the others and there was no obnoxious girl near me.

I have never being confident enough to wear a bikini so i picked out my blue full bikini.

Making sure no girl was looking at me I quickly changed into it.

The teachers' whistle indicated that we had to leave the changing rooms and ahead to the main swimming pool.

I watched at how some girls showed off with their inciting bikinis and so did the boys but with their "muscular" bodies.

Certainly Justin has the best body by far... It is like a curse, being pretty is a curse to hide how people really are inside.

I sat on one of the long benches where we normally wait for instructions as my classmates made partners.

I lowered my head as i checked my body. It was disgusting. I had no attraction no wonder why they say all those horrible comments about me.

"Hey, do you have a partner?" A voice made me snap out from my thoughts.

I lifted my head to meet the crystalline blue eyes of Ryan Butler. He was wearing short swimming pants and a bright, wide smile on his face.

He had a body to die for but my mind couldn't understand the reason of his presence.

"No..." I said in a whisper tucking a lock of hair behind my ear.

He widened his smile even more. "Can we be partners?" He asked slowly.

His voice echoed in my head.

Ryan Butler, the popular basketball player of the school, Justin's best friend just asked me to be his partner?!

I doubted at first but he persisted.

"Did Justin send you?" I asked coldly.

He stepped closer making me to stand abruptly. "No, I want to be your partner, its ok if you rather not to"

He turned around slowly ready to leave.

Confusing thoughts took over my mind before a coherent word escaped from my mouth.

"Ok, I will" I said flashing a smile to him.

He smiled to me again as we made our way to the pool.

I noticed the dirty looks some people were already giving me.

"Yo Ryan come" Justin called him.

Ryan stared at him indecisively but he turned away taking me to the other end of the pool, away from the people.

"Ryan i don't want to cause you trouble" I said as i sat at the edge of the pool.

He looked back at me. His sweet eyes got nailed on me. "You wont cause me trouble Callie"

I gulped as we both got inside the pool.

We started to make the exercise that the teacher set for the class and for the rest of the hour i totally forgot where i was and everyone who were surrounding me

Ryan was different from the others. He didn't have any intention to harm me. He was nice and he was respectful.

"You did pretty good in there Call" He smiled as he dried his hair with his green tower.

I smiled, probably blushing too. "Thanks, but you are way better" I said drying my arms.

"Can i ask you something?"

I knew by his tone that it was something serious.

I nodded slowly not knowing what to expect but bad news.

"You didn't fall, right?" His voice sent shivers down my spine. "Who was it?"

I took a step back lowering my head. "I fell"

He took a step closer.

"A fall cannot make that type of bruise" He mumbled placing his hand on my arm.

I felt... Comfortable, protected but it was all in my mind.

"Please tell me" He said lifting my face by my chin to make me meet his wonderful eyes again.

"Justin..." I mumbled boring my eyes.

His expression hardened. "He is crossing the line" He said a hint of anger on his tone.

"Don't worry is ok, Im used to it" I smiled to erase the seriousness that he was giving to the subject.

He opened his mouth to say something but the whistle of the teacher stopped him from saying it.

"Go to the changing rooms guys, Its time to leave" His voice said loudly.

I gave one last gaze to Ryan. "Thank you" I mumbled before rushing into the changing rooms.

I could tell by the way the other girls were looking at me that they were pissed. The expression of all the girls in the changing room looking at me was... Hard to describe, but nothing nice was inside their pupils or expressions.

Lowering my head I made my way to the back of the room to get change.
