The Sjörå-Mistress of the Lake-Lakerå

The Lakerå watches over the woodland lake, the lake or if it is a powerful Lakerå, the lakes that is included to her territory, the same way the Forestrå is watching over a forest. She appears as very beautiful woman,normally sitting on a rock in the water brushing her long dark green hair. Like the Forestrå her back can be hollow or sometimes fish scale, but she does not have a fishtail like a mermaid but walk on two legs.
Just like the water itself she both takes and gives life.She watches over the animals in the lake and the fisherman who shows respect and sacrifice few coins or a "Snus" (aka moist powder tobacco which is extremely common in Sweden) to the rå gets plentiful with fish and is warned of approaching storms. Compared to the Neck that seems to lure people into the corrupt of spitefulness she rarely drowns people by pure blood thirst, but only as retribution by a injustice. At least as long she isn't very hungry.
He who however manage to piss her off can very well get a agonizing drowning death to meet and end his days with turning out to food for the lakes pikes. The Neck and the Mistress of the lake hates each other and is rarely staying in the same water.
In some cases she is staying with strange striated cows,water caltrop , that can be seen beta along the beach. As soon as someone is getting near the cattle rushes quickly down the water of the lake and disappears without a trace.
If you catches an unusual large Pike you show let it back into the water,because it isn't impossible that it is the Lakerå's cow in a fish shape.
