That tranquility I crave inside my head,
Cannot out weigh the misery as I turn to the other side of our bed
Empty spaces where you would lay
Memories have the biggest price to pay
Sweet bitterness of your smile, plays over and over
A smile I cannot see as now I am not your lover
A warm hand resting on my stomach curved
Grasping a future you didn't care to burn
Basking in the glory of the flames you ignited
Around falls the ashes of a love that holds no claim for existence
Except for the heart who prayed to be reunited
