(5) I hate you!

James said "Okay well I'm going to do this here because I think that you deserve to know this Cassidy." 

Bucky whispered "No dad please." 

"James Buchanan you will be going to Fort Bragg with me and I'll be pulling you out of school and you will be going to boot camp." James said 

"I hate you so much Cassidy I told you to fucking wait." Bucky said as tears fell down his cheeks. 

"James it was an accident"Katherine said 

"No I told my son one more mistake and he was going to boot camp. Sophomore year he was caught with weed at school he got a DUI 3 times and was put on academic probation twice." James said 

Cassidy run upstairs and slammed the door and Katherine said "Great now you have upset my daughter." 

Winnie said "Let's go James." 

Bucky wiped tears and got in his mom's car and James took him to the school he turned in his pads and his jersey and basketball jersey. Cleaned out lockers and Steve said "Buck what happened." 

"What happened? I'm being sent off to boot camp cause Cassidy couldn't keep her damn mouth shut. She found out this morning that she is pregnant with my baby. She told her mom who told my mom and who told my dad." he said 

Steve hugged him and said "I'm so sorry Buck..I'll miss you buddy." 

"thanks man." he said 

That night the team lost their first game and it had to be the state championship and the football team was pissed off cause Steve told them what Bucky said. Cassidy ended up not going to the game. 

Monday morning rolled around she walked in her with her hair in two French braids and sweats. She went to her locker and then went to the athlete hallway to look for Bucky to apologize. She didn't think that James was serious.

"Oh look who it is the girl that screwed our championship chances." Silas said

"Excuse me" Cassidy said

"You are the reason we lost Friday night." Parker said

'How am I the reason why you lost." she said 

""Cause you are the reason why Barnes got sent away." Nathan said 

She looked at Steve and ran out of the hallway in tears and everyone was staring at her and she finally just walked out. She drove her self home and said "Mama I hate school I never want to go back as she threw her books into the living room and ran upstairs. 

Katherine ran after her and said "baby what happened? Did Bucky say something?' 

"He's gone mom James took him. The whole school hates me cause he told the team why he was being sent away and they  lost Friday night and that's my fault according to the team." she said through tears. 

Katherine left her daughter and went downstairs and called Winnie.

"How could you do this Winnie?' Katherine said

"How could I do what?' Winnie said

"How could you let your husband ship your son off when he has a baby on the way. Are you seriously expecting my daughter to take care of the baby all alone." Katherine said

"James wants him to be punished and learn that his actions has consequences he may be 18 but he's still our son." Winnie said 

"Well you know what me and my daughter will raise this baby without your alls help and I'll make sure he or she has our last name." Katherine said and hung up. 

She called the school and withdrew Cassidy and ordered a homeschool program and got in contact with who she needed to contact to do homeschool. 

Winnie called James and said "Hey honey." 

"Hey darlin." James said

"How's he doing?' Winnie said 

"Currently getting his hair cut." James said as he watched Bucky wipe tears as they cut his hair. 

"Well I want you to know that we may never see our grandchild now. Katherine is upset that we are doing this. She feels Bucky should be home with Cassidy I guess." Winnie said 

Bucky looked up at his dad when he seen him on the phone and said "Who is that?'

"It's your mother." James said 

"Can I talk to her." he said 

"Just for a minute you have other things to do." he said

He hands him the phone and he said "Mom I love you I just wanted to say that in case I die." 

James rolled his eyes and Winnie said "James it's just boot camp. You are in great shape'

"Mom this isn't football shit so I love you." he said

"OKay any thing else you want to say or have me tell someone." She said

'Like who mom?' he said

"I don't know maybe the mother of your child." Winnie said

"No I hate her I never want to speak to her again." He said and handed the phone back to his dad and said "Take me wherever else I need to go." 

James took Bucky to get his physical done and then took him to get his uniforms and then took him to meet his superior officer and he let Bucky know that he wasn't going to be getting special treatment cause his dad is the Col.
