Natasha and Wanda teamed up with Katherine to throw Cassidy a gender reveal party. She posted a picture of her 20 week belly bump and said "20 weeks today popping out big time now."
Bucky seen it as she tagged Natasha and Wanda in the picture. The doctor gave the envelope with the gender in it and gave it to Natasha and then she met Wanda to get what color balloons and cake they needed to get.
Katherine was in charge of decorations and keeping Cassidy from being involved. So Cassidy took a nap as she listened to "Silver Springs" by Fleetwood Mac on repeat. She sat an alarm to let her know that she needed to get ready for the party and then she drove over to the party venue.
She had her blonde hair curled and a white high low shirt with black leggings and boots. She walked in and saw what all her friends and her mom did for her and she said "I love it guys thank you."
They played games ate food and everyone took turns guess the baby's gender. Wanda pulled up her facebook live and started to record the reveal as Katherine blindfolds Cassidy and said "You ready baby"
Bucky was watching the live video on his phone as he was running on the treadmill and she said "No I don't want to know mama"
"Come on baby you can do this "Katherine said
Her mom popped the balloon and blue glitter fell over her. She took the blind fold off and she started to break into tears. She walked away and Wanda said "Cass.."
"No just leave me alone." Bucky heard her say off camera.
Wanda stopped the video and Cassidy left the party. That night he called his mom and said "Mom I saw you at the party but not dad. Wanda had the thing recording live on Facebook."
"Your dad was specifically told by Cassidy that he wasn't welcomed to the party that I was allowed to come but she did not want your daddy at the party." Winnie said
Bucky looked down and Winnie said "Did you see her break into tears."
"I did mom.." he said
"James you need to talk to her she's hurting." Winnie said
"Mom I'm here because of her." Bucky said
"No you are there because you didn't listen to her that night she said that she told you that she had just gotten her shot and that you needed a condom or pull out." Winnie said
"But mom she told her mom when I asked her to wait till I figured out what to do so I didn't get in trouble." he said
"No James you are blaming her and you weren't there when she came home. She came home that day and told Katherine she was pregnant that she had done all the responsible things she had to do. I was there having coffee with Katherine I'm the one that asked her who she was sleeping with cause I hadn't seen her with a boy at school and I figured I wasn't a football player cause she wasn't wearing a number on her cheek." Winnie said
"she told you before I even got a chance to talk to you." Bucky said
" she probably didn't even know that I didn't know. Katherine told me that she's known the whole time cause that's who Cassidy is all she has is her mom. Her dad didn't want to stay around when her mom got pregnant with her. So she probably assumed that you told me everything like she does her mom." Winnie said
Bucky looked down and shook his head and "You knew dad would send me away once he found out."
"No.. I had hoped that he would see that this was an accident but like always you go and make it worse with your silent treatment. THen trying to get Cassidy to lie for you right in front of him." Winnie said
He sighed and she said "James I've been wanting to talk to you since Christmas I just haven't been able to find the words to say cause I don't want to lose Cassidy. But did you tell Cassidy that she wasn't allowed to fall in love with you."
"I did.." he said
Winnie looked down and he said "What mom?'
"Christmas I asked her if there was a message she wanted me to relay to you cause she was really hurt that you said you were never coming back and she said the message she has for you she's not allowed to say cause you made her promise that she couldn't fall in love with you but she did and that she's just going to be like her mom and just be a single mom even though it was not the life she wanted for herself." Winnie said
Bucky looked down and said "Mom I'm tired I'm gonna go." and he ended the video call.
That night both Bucky and Cassidy cried themselves to sleep.
