Chapter 6 - Dorm room tales

Scarlet P.O.V

Me and Dude are now sitting in my dorm and he goes over to my bed and sits down towards me.

"I want to thank you Scarlet, for rescuing me from the kill zone"

I chuckle

"Anytime Dude"

I walk over and give him belly rubs and head scratches as he starts to fall asleep.

My head still hurts like hell so I decided to lie down next to him and have a quick nap.

I start to dream of me back at the isle, I hear Dizzy screaming

"SCARLET!"

I run towards her as quick as I could and when I get there I see my father holding her by the neck over a cliff.

" No father please! I'll do what ever you want"

he smirked

"I told you the punishment for showing emotion, and I want you to know what it's like for someone to leave unexpectedly"

he throws Dizzy off the cliff

"NO!"

I woke up suddenly and I felt tears down my face.
I bring my knees up to my chest and hold them as I lean against the bed frame.

Dude is still asleep next to me, I sigh and get up to see if the ball before had a left a mark, sure enough it left a dark purple mark, great.

I get back on the bed, this time my head on the opposite side to the pillows and try to fall asleep again.

I did.

It was peaceful.

(Time skip 1 hour 45 minutes)

I woke up, I opened my eyes slightly to see Carlos siting in front of me leaning on the window with a book fallen in his lap.

I smile at the view and look at Dude who is awake not noticing I'm awake.

I start to sit up when Dude looks over to see I'm awake.

He goes to speak but I shush him and gestured towards Carlos, he nodded and came and sat in my lap.

I give him pats on his head and end up giving Dude belly rubs.

He is having the time of his life.

Dude eventually jumps off the bed and then tumbled into the bedside table which knocks over the clock.

Dude freezes and then looks at me he then looks at Carlos who is starting to wake up so I face palm myself and chuckle slightly.

I look back at Carlos who had just opened his eyes and started to look at the room then to Dude and then to me.

His eyes widen.

"Before you say anything, I want you to know that I didn't mean to barge in on you or anything, I just wanted to make sure you were really okay.
I know you said you were but I know what it feels like to get hit in the head with one of the balls and by the looks of it you got hit pretty hard"
