Chapter 10 - A week's notice

My time here has been good, I have new friends and I have new classes which I have with at least one friend each class, yay. I have had a couple of encounters with Audrey, but not Chad, I showed him.

I start to get closer with Jay and Carlos as best friends, but I have a different feeling towards Carlos then I have to anyone else, it's weird.

We're all sitting in the courtyard eating lunch and we're all trying to talk but Evie has not stopped talking about the Auradon dance which is now in a week or so.

"Evie, calm down you'll get everything done in time" Mal just gets out.

"But Mal! I still have four dresses to go!"

I look at her "Evie! You'll get them done, you got mine done in about 2 hours. Remember?"

"Did I really?" She is shocked

"Yes! You woke me up, measured me, went to the tourney practise and once that was finished about an hour and a half to two hours you got my dress done"

I'm out of breathe and I don't know why. Probably because I spoke really fast.

She sighs "Okay the I guess I can do it!"

"That's the spirit" Dizzy blurted out.

Then Dizzy remembered something "Oh! By the way Scar, I'm going to do your hair for the Auradon Dance.

Plus anyone else that wants theirs done" the rest shock their head.

"Um... okay?" I don't know what she's going to do. Let's hope for the best.

"Hey Lonnie?" Lonnie looks over to Jay who ask for her.

"Yes?"

"Do you um... what to... be my d-date for the d-dance next week?"

We all look at him in shock. Who knew Jay liked Lonnie.

We look back at Lonnie who jumped up and hugged Jay who hugged her back

"Yes! Yes! YES!" We all laugh as they realise where they are. They both turn a deep red.

"Who's everyone going with?" Mal is asking all.

"Doug and I of course" Evie said.

You and me Mal" Ben said.

"Me and Scar as friends of course" was said by Dizzy.

"Jay and I!" Lonnie yelled

"And Jane and I" Carlos said, he didn't look to happy though.

"Hey are you okay?" Dizzy asked him.
We all looked at him. He looked up at us all.

"Yeah I'm all good. Why?"
Ben's curious too "because you looked sad when you said you were going with Jane"

Ben looked at Jane who looks a little hurt as she looks at Carlos.

"Why would I be upset about going with my girlfriend?" Carlos asked.

Ben shrugged "Then something else might've been on your mind"

"Yeah" you hear softly coming from Carlos.

Jane's mood seemed to change though as she saw someone walk behind me, Jay and Mal.

We all turn except me because I know who it is.

I get picked up by my jacket and getting forced to walk over next to the tree and get pinned against one.

"Kovo what are you doing?" I sound not impress. I see the other stare at me.

"What are you wearing around your neck!" He looks deadly at me.

I shrug "Why do you want to know?" I snap back to him.

"Because Audrey said to me and my girlfriend, that you were wearing Mufassa's tooth around your neck, which you told her directly!"

I roll my eyes at him "So what if it was why would you care, you are a kid from the isle"
He pulls me forward and then pushes me back into the tree hard. "Ow"

"Don't act stupid with me Scar! Now is Audrey RIGHT!"

"Yeah she is and?" He goes to grabbed my necklace on my neck so I slide out of his grip to turn back around to look at him.

He looks like he is going to murder me. I look at my friend in the corner of my eye. "Hey guys, I'll catch up with you later"

Kovo makes a leap for me as o sickly change into lion form and run into the forest.

I can hear Kovo run after me.
Sooner or later I loose him and so I change back into human form and walk back to the school.

As I am walking back to the school I have to pass a couple of tables and I hear whisperings about me.

"Hey! If you want to say something? Man up and tell me to my face!"

That shut them up.

I walk back to my dorm who has all my friends in there.

"Hi guys, sorry I just got caught up in family issues" we all laugh.

"Audrey go away!" I hear Carlos say.

We all look at the door and I glare at Audrey who gives a little innocent look to us the She starts talking

"oh come on! I just came here to tell you guys that Kitty over here will just throw you off a cliff if she could, just like her father"

I walk over to close the door but then Chad keeps it open. "Oh hey mini Cinderella, remember what I told you" I retract my claws a tap my face so they can see my claws. "I know what you told me, but I just came to grab Audrey before you decide to eat her"

I'm now shocked "And why would I want to eat your girlfriend?"

The others behind me laugh "Shut up VK's and nobody's!" Audrey yells

"Now, now Audrey" Ben comes out from behind the door "You wouldn't happen to be shutting my friends up would you?"

He smirks at her as she quickly shakes her head. "Good now bye Ben shits the door and we both turn around. I say "I'll throw them off a cliff soon"

We all laughed.

"Hey what happened with Kovo?" Mal asked

"Oh he said something about his girlfriend and himself wanting my necklace because it's Mufassa's tooth from after he died, and I know I shouldn't wear it here, but it's the only thing my father ever gave me"

"That's okay Scar, we get it" Mal slams up and puts her hand on my shoulder"

"Thank you"
