8: The Zoo

Before we knew it, the three of us were walking around hand-in-hand looking at all the different animals. As we walked, I saw my favorite animal. My eyes lighted up as I let go of Hiro and Tadashi's hand, running towards it. "(Name)!" they shouted but I didn't listen. I grabbed into the rails, standing on my tiptoes. The (f/animals) we all eating and playing. It was so cute!

I kept shuffling to the right to get a better look at them but I ended up bumping into someone. "Oops, I'm sorry!" I apologized looking up at them. The person turned their heads, looking down at me with a kind smile. I felt a pit in my stomach as my heart rate began to increase. "It's okay! Don't worry about it!" they told me. I stared at all their features. I couldn't believe who it was.

"Lee! Come on! I want to go see the monkeys next!" a little girl shouted. He looked over at the girl and chuckled. "Alright, alright! I'm coming!" Then Tadashi and Hiro finally caught up to me. They stood behind me and stared at Lee. "Lee?" Hiro questioned. Lee turned back to the three of us. "Oh! Tadashi, Hiro! It's been a while. I didn't know you guys had a little sister!"

I didn't know what to do. I just stood there bewildered and stared at him. Tadashi smiled at Lee, shoving his hands into his pockets. "She's...not our sister," he told him. "She's our cousin. We're taking care of her for the day!" Lee bent down and looked at my face closely. I blushed as I slowly backed away. He's way too close to my face!

Lee smiled at me. "Haha, shy, isn't she?" He stood up straight as he put his hands in his pockets as well. "She looks a lot like (Name) when she was a kid." Hiro quickly jumped in. "Haha! Yeah! Genetics, you know!" Hiro grabbed my hand and quickly walked away. "See ya!" he waved behind him. "Hiro!" Tadashi shouted running after us.

"H-Hiro!" I shouted looking up at him. "What are you doing!?" I asked him. He stopped walking and lets go of my hand. He turned to me, looking down at the ground at his side. His hands in his blue hoodie. " I saw how you looked at him," he said quietly. "If he were to find out that you actually turned into a kid again, he'll most likely get involved. And you looked nervous and...hurt. I-I didn't want to lose you again." 

I looked up at Hiro in surprise. The end of my lips curled as I scoff softly. "Hiro," I grabbed his hoodie pulling him down. "No matter who I end up with, I wouldn't trade you, Tadashi, and Aunt Cass for anyone. You three will always be my first priority." Hiro stood there for a minute before wrapping his arms around my shoulders, hugging me.

Hior pulled away and gave his usual dorky smile. I felt a familiar cap on my head, covering my eyes. I pulled the cap up to see Tadashi smiling at us with his hand on my head. "You two really are corny," he chuckled at us. Hiro blushed as he elbowed him, causing Tadashi to laugh more.

The sun began to set as we walked out of the Zoo. "I had so much fun! Thank you, Tadashi!" I said happily with stretching. Tadashi smiled, tipping his cap. "Anytime," he told me. My phone began to ring. I grabbed the phone put of my pocket to see a familiar contact number. I frowned at it and turned it off. "Who was that?!" Hiro screamed in my ear from behind. I jumped and screamed before turning around, uppercutting him in the jaw. "OHMYGAWD! HIRO!" "OW!" he yelled rubbing under his  jaw. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!"

"YOU KNOW I GET SCARED EASILY!"

"BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN FOR YOU TO HIT ME!"

"FAST REFLEXES, HIRO! EVER HEARD OF THAT?!"

"BUT YOU KNOW I WAS GOING TO DO THAT!"

"BUT YOU KNOW I WAS GOING TO THAT!"

On the whole walking to the scooter and ride home, we were arguing. What a normal day for the Hamada.
