The Dark Night (Darkiplier x Reader)

Night Falls

As the driver drove you to, what could possibly be, your death you just think. About your entire life. What you could've done better and things you could've said instead of just laughing it off, like everything else.

"Miss (L/N), we're here" the driver tells you.

You thank him as you get out and look up at the castle in front of you. The long bridge leading towards the castle is beautiful and the stone walls going into the sky are gorgeous. If this castle didn't belong to Darkiplier you would be excited to go in!

As you walk towards the entrance you see two guards waiting for you. When you approach they hold their spears, which have some sort of demon trait, together to form an X stopping you from going any further.

"State your business for visiting The Great Castle" the guard on the right demands in a booming voice.

"I'm here for the maid position available" you say in the nicest voice you can manage.

Their faces light up as you said that as if it was the best news anyone had ever told them before.

"Thank you so much miss! The king has been extremely angry ever since that happened, he will be pleased to hear this" the guard on the left says as they put their spears back to their sides.

"I will fetch one of the other maids to escort you to the king right away" the one on the right says as he rushes inside.

Not even a minute later he comes back with a younger looking girl. Short brown hair hangs above her shoulders and her deep brown eyes welcome you. She's wearing a black dress above her knees and a white apron is tied across her waist.

"Miss please follow me to the king's office, he will be excited to me-" she cuts yourself of and looks down at your outfit.

Smiling again she says "Let's get you into a maid uniform first then I'll escort you to the king"

As you and, what you learned was, Mary head to Dark's office you were told how to address him and how to address Anti and Die as well. You learned it was Dark's personal maid that went missing.

"What happened to her? I was only told she went missing" you ask Mary in a calm tone.

"She killed herself" she stated.

"What?! Why would she do that?!" you ask her instantly regretting coming here.

"We don't know. As his personal maid she didn't see the other maids too often. Just to pick up some cleaning products or his food" she told you as you two stopped at a big door. She knocked and opened it up to see Dark, Anti and Die talking together. They were probably in a meeting.

"Yes Mary?" you hear is deep voice echo through the room sending your heart to start pounding out of fear.

"This young lady has requested the job of th-"

"Yes yes please have a seat ma'am" he insists as he stands up to meet you.

Mary walks out of the room closing the door on the way out. Dark walks over to you and grabs your hand pulling you over to the chair he was just sitting in.

"Now, my dear, what is your name?" he asks as another chair appears out of nowhere. Demon.... right.

"My name is (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)"

"Ah such a pretty name for such a beautiful young lady" he says as he leans back in his chair.

"Ye don't have te coax her into the job Dark, she came here voluntarily which I still have no idea why she did such a stupid thing" the green headed man spoke up which I instantly knew was Anti. If looks could kill Anti would be dead by the look Dark have him.

"Don't mind Anti, he can say.... idiotic things sometimes" Dark tells you prying his eyes off of Anti. "I'm sorry for asking you this but, why do you want to work here? I've been told there are some bad rumours around the towns that people that work here don't come back out"

"Well, I know they are rumours because some people around town do get letters from their loved ones who are working here. And when I found out the position opened was your personal s- maid, I wanted to take it so I could learn more about the castle. It is such a beautiful piece of architecture that I wanted to ask the owner his thoughts on it" you lie and look down at your hands. You look up to see him showing a small smile.

"Yes it is a beautiful building but I only helped design it. Well, congratulations (Y/N) you have the job!" He exclaims as he stands up, "Die, Anti we will finish our talk later I must show miss (Y/N) to her quarters"

Die nods his head and disappears in a gust of blue smoke. Anti smiles at you and seems to.... glitch away???

"Now let's go" he tells you as he grabs onto your arm and then everything is black for not even a second to be greeted by a big room.

"Now Anti's maid has green in her uniform, Die's has blue and you will have red in yours" he starts walking towards another room. As you look around a certain revelation has popped into your head and your gut drops into the floor as you relive who's room your in.

Your in Dark's room. Your his personal maid. Your room would have to be near his.

"This is your room" he tells you as he opens a door in his room.

"W-we share rooms?" you manage to stutter out as your hands begin to shake.

"Not technically but your room is attached to mine so if I need you, you can just come here" he says as here starts to walk towards the exit of the room. "Oh yea, before I forget, you new uniform is in there so you can change into that when you make yourself at home their. If you need to go back into town to get your stuff just tell me what you need from there and I will send a guard to retrieve your belongings. I will be attending other matter for the rest of the night, Mary will come at 7:00pm with your dinner and I should be back at 10:00pm. Clean up my room before 7:00pm and Die and Anti's maids will be coming here after dinner to teach you all the necessities of being my personal maid" and with that he leaves you there speechless.

There is no way your gonna be going back home anytime soon. You were not prepared for this.
