I'm With You....

"Can you stop that?" I said at Matt who was tapping loudly "We are in a library so let's just be quiet"
"Since when did The Queen of The Masses study?" Matt said
"Masses?" I said "That what you call the people not in the leaderboard now?"
"Pretty much" He said "Why are you even studying?"
"I need to actually get high grades" I said "If not Ill be out of here on a one way trip to a very far place so I better study or
'The Queen of the Masses' will be gone"
"Huh" He said "Ill shut up then"

Matt was a good friend and thats an understatement to be honest but at some times I just want to punch him in the face 'cause of his goofing off and he rarely evens does anything seriously which kinda hurts me as I care about him.He would always call me a new name just to annoy me that doesn't even have correlation with anything but that's the thing with him,he calls you a name and you instantly wanna be friends with him and he acts like he doesn't know anything about this but I can see through his smile that he knows what is going on.

The bell rang and Matt went out first and I was behind him still reading my book.He stayed quiet until the test ended and the best and worst thing about Sir Jordy is that he checks the papers the same day they were given and passes it before the next period.

Sir passed all the papers while all of us were conversing with each other and when I got my paper and saw my score I stood up by impulse and shouted "Hell yeah!" I said and immediately sat back down when everyone looked at me and laughed.

"What did you get?" I asked Matt
"Eh" Matt said "A good enough score"
"Lemme see" I said and he gave me his paper and his score was 40.5 "Nice"
"Thanks" He said
"Oh and uh thank you for actually shutting up so I can study" I said "I didn't really think you would actually be quiet for that long"
"To help a friend" He said "One must go long distances" He smiled
"Sounds like a Tumblr quote" I joked and he laughed

We both started conversing for a while and the day went as usual without any problem and nothing to do for tomorrow.
I took out my phone and listened to my playlist walking down the sidewalk back home."Even though we both know we're liars and we start each other's fires" I sang along the song and after a few songs I reached the entrance of my apartment.I went up and opened my door and went inside it.

I closed the door and removed my shoes and socks leaving me barefooted.I threw my bag on the couch and turned on the tv.I charged my phone.I fell on the couch and watched tv until my eyes felt heavy and I fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up to loud sound of the alarm that I set up to manually stop and start itself.I got up and undressed my self and took a shower.I went out of the bathroom and dried myself.I took the clothes that I first saw which was a t shirt that had a quote I liked "If someone wants you,nothing can keep them away.If they don't, nothing can make them stay" I said reading the quote.I wore pants matching with the color and braided my hair to a classic ponytail and took my bag and phone and headed out.

I continued my playlist as soon as I got out of the elevator and walked towards the school.While walking to school I saw Matt on the ground surround by three people.I grabbed a glass bottle and broke the half of it.I ran towards Matt and shouted "Back off pieces of shit!" They backed off and when they were really far I dropped the bottle and knelt down to Matt.His lip was bleeding and he had a black eye.I took my handkerchief and used it to cover his lip.

"You okay?" I said he stayed silent "Keep it on your lip till it stops bleeding"
"Thanks...." Matt said
"Who were those guys?" I said
"Friend of my brother" He said "Already told them that I haven't spoken to my brother for a month yet they think that I have their money"
"Are they...?" I said
"Criminals?" He said "Pushers?Yeah"
"Can you walk" I said
"They injured me" He said "Not break my legs" he got up that looked like he had strength but I heard a groan
"Come on Ill help you" I said and I helped him get to the nearest clinic.

We exited the cab we got and walked towards the clinic entrance and waited for him to be treated.
"You aren't actually involved with them right?" I said
"I don't do drugs nor kill people" Matt said while we were waiting "Its just that whatever my brother does it always comes back to me"
"He is really that bad of a brother huh?" I said
"Bad is an compliment for him" He said "He is the worst"
After this short conversation Matt and I continued talking but halfway through he stayed quiet and he looked like he didn't want to talk to me and I realized this late into our conversation.

"Hey" I said "Im going to go back to school yeah?"
"Ok" He said
"Ill tell bout what happen just be safe" I said "Please"
"Ill do that" He said giving me a fake smile and I left the clinic.

Throughout the whole day I was uneasy about the situation of Matt as he didn't show for school.Luckily there was nothing we needed to pass today.I went back home listening to music.

My alarm started ringing and it stopped as usual.I did my morning routine and headed to school.I went up the stairs and went inside my classroom and I saw Matt.I sat next to him to talk to him.

"What do you think of me?" Matt said "After what happened?"
"Hard to say" I said "I mean I still think you are the annoying bastard that made me laugh and want to punch you" I laughed a little and so did he
"Yeah but..." He said "Tell me honestly"
"You are a person that..." I said letting out a sigh "Is getting karma for his brother's actions"
"You serious?" He said
"Yeah" I said "Just remember I'm with you"
"Until when?" He said
"Till you drop"

AN:At this point the only reason I'm writing this is for the quotes and btw this is a two parter with the next part to be released I don't know when anyways here's the quote and thanks for reading.
