The Fool

I had my earphones on listening to music waiting for the line on the cashier.It was another normal day for someone like me.Wake up,go to the university,come home to the dorm,chill and get some grocery if I ran out for the week.I placed the basket on the counter and Juli,a fellow student at the university, placed them in a plastic bag and totaled the cost of all the items.I paid her and went outside carrying the plastic bag and walked back to my dorm.

I opened my dorm and walked inside placing the plastic bag on the counter and closing the door.I unplugged my earphones and let the music continue on full volume (this was allowed as we had very thick walls).I fell on my bed which is foldable to a couch but I never bothered to fold it unless if there was a person visiting me but that rarely happens.I closed my eyes listening to the music letting myself fade and forget the crap that happened today.

Earlier The Day
"Guys" Tom said "It's about to be the deadline of our project and we got everything complete but the title still doesn't exist"
"Whats so hard about the title?" I said "Just make it simple"
"Ma'am needs it to be artistic" Helen said "Or else we will get a deduction and there is no way in hell I'll take the low creds"
"Fine how about we..." I was cut off by our 4th member
"Get out" Sam said
"Finally you made an appearance" I said
"Yeah when we were done" Tom said crossing his arms
"I had more important shit than History of America" Sam said
"You are a dick huh?" Helen said
"And you are a what again?" Sam said
"Don't you go there!" Helen said
"A slut sleeping with our professors for extra credits!" Sam said and he was slapped by Helen leaving a red mark on his cheek "You bitch!" he was about to hit her but I got in between them.

"Stop" I said stopping Sam's fist
"What are you gonna do huh?" Sam said "You couldn't even stop the person you love from leaving you" I felt my hand turned into a fist and I punched him in the face
"Atleast I had someone" I said.

He got up and took me by the collar and was about to beat me up when our professor came in.

Present
I woke up and it was the next day and I still had my earphones on. I got up and tooka shower and wore the clothes that were recently washed and went out my dorm carrying my small bag.

I went to my locker and removed the unneeded books in my bag and placed them in the locker and took the books I needed.

I closed my locker and went down the hall. I watched as a lot of people were crowding over a stall with Olivia doing her usual tarot card stuff.

I waited for everyone to get their one tarot try and sat to see my tarots.

"Sup Olivia" I said
"Sup" Olivia said "Didn't think you believed on this 'shit that people believe to make them happy' things"
"I was a too logical of a child back then" I said "Why not try it for the first time"
"Aight" Olivia said "You shuffle with the question you have in your head" she handed me the deck and I closed my eyes and started shuffling the deck.

I gave it back to her and she asked me how many cards I want,I said 3 and she brought out three cards. The first card was a man holding a knapsack with mountains in the distant and a white dog behind him,the second looked like Adam and Eve while the third had a skull on it.

"Wow" I said "Guess Im gonna die huh?"
"No" She said "You got it all wrong"
"Enlighten me" I said
"This is the Fool" she said pointing at the first card "It means new beginnings"
"Wow thought it meant that I was a fool" I said
"Thats one way of looking at it" she said "But it isn't reversed so that isn't the case"
"Whats the next one?" I said
"Lovers" She said "Love,obviously,mixed with the Fool card you might have a relationship during your 'adventure' in this day" she waited for my response and I stayed silent "Death" She said "Doesn't really mean death it means change this connects to with the Fool card"
"Wow" I said "I have to go"
"See ya" She said "Oh and our table there should be something"
