Her breathing was heavy, but she had to stay quiet if she wished to stay hidden. The rain pelted her face like bullets as she leaned against the thick tree, slowly removing the metal from her burning flesh. Biting the inside of her cheek, she was able to remove it swiftly, without much of a sound. The little sound it did make however, was drowned out by the heavy rain. She had been foolish. Her Byakugan had been activated the entire fight, yet she dodged all the kunai but one. She miscalculated. She had gotten too confident.
Luckily though, she managed to get away from them with the little chakra she had left.
She held her hand firmly on the bloody gash, her skin stained a pinkish color. Feeling a straining headache coming on, she deactivated her bloodline to avoid passing out, trying her best to keep her senses alert.
The rain came down harder and harder, not letting up any time soon. With all of the blood loss, she was beginning to feel extremely tired. She rested her head against the soaked wood and sighed.
Just as she closed her eyes, a large hand connected with her neck, causing her to instinctually place her own upon the owner of the tight grasp. She attempted to remove the fingers which were most likely bruising her neck, but to no avail. They still had their monstrous grip.
With the other hand, the intruder removed her mask on one swift motion, earning a struggled gasp from the girl as he broke the porcelain mask in his hand, staring her right in the eye whilst doing so.
Crimson met pearl, and vice versa.
He removed his hand from her throat and moved his hand up towards her jaw, gripping it tightly. He roughly pulled her face towards his. Red eyes penetrated her own. He spoke low, his voice filled with so much venom.
"Tell me what I want to know, and I promise not to hurt you."
Hinata's eyes widened. She didn't know what to expect, but she wasn't planning on letting it happen.
She quickly slipped out the hidden blade that was in the bandage in her arm, aiming for his neck, but he was to quick for her.
His other hand grabbed hers in a flash, squeezing it tight and causing her to drop the blade, landing in the puddle of mud about twenty feet below. She yelped in pain as she heard something crack. A sharp pain shot up her arm, causing her to glare evilly at the man before her.
"Think before you act."
She sneered up at him, wanting to snatch back her arm which he still held tightly. Her arm throbbed painfully. "What the hell do you want, Uchiha?"
"I want information on Konoha."
She would've laughed if she wasn't so pissed off and in pain right now. He wanted what? This idiot. As if she would ever give up any valuable information.
"You can forget about that."
He nodded his head slowly, "Is that so?"
"Damn straight," She spoke, spitting out the blood that had been pooling in her mouth to the side.
They made contact once more, but this time, Hinata wished she hadn't have been so bold. The black in his eyes began to spin wildly. It was so mesmerizing she couldn't take her eyes away from it, resulting in complete darkness.
