"Uchiha Sasuke..." Hinata grumbled as she rolled her eyes, allowing her muscles to relax. She should've known that it was him.
I mean who else could it have been?
Biting the inside of her cheek, she glared up at the man. She was tired and really didn't want to deal with him or anything else for that matter. Not right now.
"Just my luck." She spoke, fake cheer lacing her voice, her eyes saying the complete opposite.
"Just be glad he didn't kill your pathetic little ass." Karin snarled, pushing up her glasses with a huff.
Hinata glanced up at her with faux confusion sketched upon her still scratched up face. "Y'know, I've never seen someone talk so much crap. I'm confused; which end am I looking at again?"
Juugo snickered softly whilst Suigetsu doubled over in laughter. She could've sworn she'd seen a small smirk from Sasuke. Karin however, was flushed almost as red as her hair due to her anger and mild embarrassment. As she opened her mouth to throw another insult at the Hyuuga girl, she was abruptly cut off by Sasuke.
"You three, get out."
"B-but Sasuke—"
Hinata watched closely as the Uchiha glared daggers into the girl, his eyes swirling to their crimson shade. Nervous laughter was heard as the redhead inched her way out the room, the two men following behind.
Stopping for a split second, Suigetsu turned to Sasuke. "Try not to have too much fun."
As he said those words, the cell door slammed shut leaving only the two in there. Hinata furrowed her brows, 'too much fun?' What exactly was he planning on doing? She turned her attention back to the man in front of her, noticing that he was already looking at her. She blinked.
"So how about we go ahead and get this over with, huh? My wrists are pretty sore, and it smells like straight horse shit in here."
Sasuke frowned at her choice in language. He remembered this girl from the academy. She was shy and quiet, nothing like the female before him now. Sure she didn't speak as much as Karin, thank Kami, but she had a bold tongue and he could tell that her confidence had a major boost in the past few years.
He mentally shook his head. He had no time to think about that. There were things he needed to do, questions that needed to be answered, actions that needed to be taken.
"Watch your mouth. You must be forgetting your place in this equation," He spoke, playing with the sharp edge of his kunai. Hinata watched his every move carefully. Her eyes never leaving the blade. "Now, as you said, let's get this over with."
He placed the kunai knife upon her neck, causing her to look up at his face, just below his glowing eyes. She had learned her lesson. She swallowed carefully, thinking of possible ways to attack. "Just tell me what I want to know."
She smirked slightly, looking off to the side. She was in one hell of a predicament. To think her, Hinata Hyuuga, has been granted the opportunity to be captured by Sasuke Uchiha himself and there was absolutely no way she could properly "thank" him.
After a bit of silence, she sighed as she finally spoke up.
"You need to be more specific, Uchiha. I'm not too sure what it is you want."
"You're a member of Konohagakure's Anbu Black Op core, meaning that you own some of the village's most top secret information, am I correct?"
The girl shrugged the best she could in her chains. "More or less. Not that I'd lend any of it to you," She mumbled to herself.
Sasuke smirked. This girl had a really smart mouth and he hated every last bit of it. He pulled the kunai away from her neck, his devilish grin stretching slightly as he noticed her softly exhale. The action would've normally gone unnoticed by the average human eye, but this is Sasuke we're talking about. His eyes are nowhere close to being average.
Twirling the knife around his index finger, Sasuke let his eyes travel over the girl, studying her carefully.
Hinata squirmed uncomfortably under his piercing gaze, looking in every direction but his. She knew that he wasn't going to kill her, but she knew that if he really wanted to, he could cause her some damage. She cursed herself for getting trapped in this situation.
Her soft lavender eyes traveled to the spinning blade, her brows furrowing deeply as she weighed her little options.
She could keep the information in order to save her tail, or she could easily give him every detail that she knew and-hopefully-be set free.
...
'Tuh! As if I would ever. My ass would be cooked! Fried with a side of sweet dumpling...'
She shivered at the thought of betraying her home. It was her sworn duty to protect the village. Nothing more, nothing less.
The blade stopped, causing her to come back to reality. "Something you need to get off your chest?"
The kunai poofed into smoke and his eyes made their way back to her face again.
"Seeing as though you're not about to comply with my generous offer-"
"Generous?" Puh-Lease!!
Sasuke glared and gave her a look that said, don't interrupt me again, and continued.
"I suppose have no other choice."
He placed a hand under her chin and lifted her head up to face him.
"I have more than one way of getting that information out of you, and I'm almost certain that you will find it unpleasant."
Not knowing what else to do, and also not really having the ability to do much else, Hinata did the unthinkable. She was always taught growing up that spitting was rude, but in this case she made an exception. She already knew what was coming next, but she didn't regret her action. She would accept the pain and torture of what was to come. In her book, they were now tied.
She glared into his eyes and watched as they turned blood red, black speckles spinning.
Darkness.
