Jaemin shook his head, trying to process what just happened. Did he just regain memories of a fragment of his past? He opened his eyes slowly and looked up to see the boy still standing with his hand outstretched, his face filled with even more worry.

"Are you sure you're not badly hurt? You must've gotten a big blow to the head, I mean you look pretty dazed. If you want I can take you to the nurse," he offered.

Jaemin grabbed the boy's hand and pulled himself up slowly, dusting off his pants and grabbing his backpack. "Thank you for the offer. But I think I'll be fine."

Jaemin couldn't help but notice that he was keeping his distance, as if there was a brick wall between them. Maybe it was just they boy's personality but Jaemin found it strange.

Now that he was eye level with him, Jaemin could see how uncomfortable he was. The boy didn't look Jaemin in the eye, and after helping Jaemin up he stood at least 5 feet away as if one of them had the plague. Still, Jaemin thought back to what he just saw in his head and realized the boy in his flashback looked almost exactly the one standing before him, just older and without the snaggletooth and snapback.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?"

The boy stumbled backwards, as if he was pushed. "I, uh, don't worry about me!" His voice came out panicked. He began to back away slowly. "But I'm glad you're okay." Then he disappeared around the corner.

Jaemin blinked. What the fuck? He didn't he tell me his name and just took off. Was he the same guy from my flashback? How have I not seen him around before? Did we really know each other? Did something happen between us to make him run away so quickly like that?

He shook his head, too worn out to think properly. He walked the rest of the way to his locker, shutting the thoughts out of his mind. Those questions can be thought about later. Plus, the boy seemed like a key to his memories, and Jaemin wasn't ready to remember more just yet.

welp this is all i have for now,, guess yall will have to actually wait for the next one rip. winter break is in a few days tho so i might write some of that then. it depends on what i'm in the mood for, either ill work on this or on rent me (my nomin au) or both if im bored.
