chapter 11

we were all sitting around the table for breakfast. this year it was just me, Charlie, Molly and Arthur and maybe even percy, spending Christmas together. it was Christmas eve today and the day of the yule ball. Molly had seen the picture of ginny in her dress and bursted into tears mumbling about how her baby is all grown up.

I had to go late Christmas shopping so I was going with kiara and nymphadora, otherwise known as tonks, to hogsmeed. I got up early and apperated into the three broomsticks where kiara sat at the table with her one and a half year old daughter. she was trying and failing to feed her. I walked over to the two.

"oh look it's auntie Taylor" kiara told her daughter, yasmin. me and tonks were yasmins godmothers and Charlie was her god father and noah was her dad

"you look like you've been through hell and back" tonks said to kiara as she was coming up behind me.

"i feel like I have. and I can't get her to eat, she keeps throwing tantrums and she's teething." kiara whined as she pulled a squirming yasmin back onto her lap.

"ah, so nothing new then" i said chuckling

"no of course not. noah had to stay up for ages last night and passed out on the sofa." kiara said angrily and then she burst into tears.

"kiara. are you pregnant again?" i asked noticing her mood swings. her face was full of realisation. "after shopping do you. wanna go to St mungos. " i asked.

"yeah okay. I could also do with seeing uncle frank whole I'm there." kiara said.

after whe'd finished shopping we apperated to st mungos. I was helping kiara while tonks played with yasmin. the doctor came into the room. kiara rolled up her top and she had a small bump.

"i suspect you are around two to three months pregnant. " the doctor told her after running a number of tests.

"but how, I havent had morning sickness or anything " kiara said.

"you don't always have morning sickness " the doctor told her. after kiara saw her aunt and uncle we apperated to our separate homes. I walked up the stairs. to find charlie.

"what did you do today" Charlie asked as I lay on the bed next to him.

"shopping and finding out kiaras pregnant again." i told him chuckling.

we were sitting down to dinner, except for percy who had to work, when charlie got up from his chair and knelt down beside me. he pulled a small box from his pocket and Molly squealed.

"Taylor, I love you so much. nothing would make me happier that being able to call you mine. will you marry me?" Charlie asked.

I was shocked, frozen in my seat. he looked worried before I finally made myself able to speak "yes yes I will marry you" i said kissing him. he let out a breath and slid the ring onto my finger.

Molly squealed and couldn't help but let tears out. Arthur congratulated us. they hugged us and Molly wrote to the kids at Hogwarts.

I was engaged to charlie!!!!!!!
