When I opened my eyes, I was in an unfamiliar room. I looked around, confused, until my eyes landed on an angel. Her coffee-colored hair in contrast to her white pillow, her chocolate eyes closed and buried in the bed, her soft snores filling the eerie silence of the room. Slowly reaching up, I stroked her cheek, smiled, and remembered everything that happened yesterday. The thing inside of me wanting to hurt her, being trapped, the kiss.

She played with the baby hairs on the back of my neck, putting everything she had into this kiss. Standing up with her in my lap, she wrapped her legs around my waist and pulled away. I haven't opened my eyes yet, wanting to savor this moment as much as I could. I felt her thumb caressing my face, right under my eye. Finally opening my eyes, I am met with golden eyes and a soft smile.

"Hi." she faintly spoke, smile widening.

"Hallo." I said in a baby-like voice, while walking toward the couch. Setting her down, I kneeled in between her legs once again and hugged her with all I had left in me.

"Thank you so much." I said genuinely. And again, she grabbed my face and pulled me into a searing kiss. I got up and climbed onto the couch, pushing her down onto her back, all while our lips pressed together.

Slowly, I probed her lips with my tongue, feeling hotter and hotter by the second. But I felt more than just that. I felt like I belonged. And I know it's cheesy, a line in every single romance film, but I felt those butterflies become a tornado of feelings, ready to knock down any obstacles in our way.

Embarrassingly, I broke the kiss with a yawn, which made her angelic laugh surface.

"Sorry." I apologized, feeling my eyes close. I knew I didn't have the strength to keep holding myself up, so I gently put my body weight on her, my arms wrapping around her middle. Feeling her legs lock around my waist and her fingers comb through my hair, I smiled into her neck and pecked it.

"It's okay baby. Go to sleep. I'll take care of you." Is the last thing I heard before I was swept off into slumber, her eyes haunting my dreams.

She's my anchor. She's my saving grace. She keeps me sane. Oh god, I'm in deep with this girl.

Seeing her eyes looking back at me with love breaks me out of my thoughts. "Good morning." She rasps out, her morning voice incredibly beautiful, just like the rest of her.

"Good morning. How'd you sleep?" I asked, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her lips.

"Better now that you're here next to me." Rolling herself on top of me with a laugh, she shoved her face in the crook of my neck and sighed. "You smell good." I barely heard, her breath tickling my neck. Wrapping my arms securely around her waist, my calloused fingers running up and down her clothed back, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, her intoxicating scent filling my nose, lulling me into deeper slumber.

"No no, don't go back to sleep. We have to get up." She exclaimed, positioning her body so that she could straddle my waist. With a mischievous smile, she bent down and started planting wet kisses all over my face. Laughing, I pushed her off of me a little to hard, because she fell off the bed with a thud. Biting my lip, I tried to suppress my laughs, but when her head popped up and glared at me, I lost my cool. My laughs and giggles echoed in the room, and eventually she started laughing with me.

"Oh shut up, butthead." gently punching my arm, she walked out of the room. Hearing her footsteps go down the stairs, I threw the covers off of me and went to the bathroom.

After I was done, I found my way through the house, following the scent of food. Walking into the kitchen, I saw Camila standing by the stove cooking breakfast in nothing but shorts and a t-shirt, slowly swaying to the music playing from her phone.
