"You are my Defendant and lineage so to speak. Only you can save Astrid and Juvia. I wasn't able to... but I know we can save them both if you really want to?"
"Of course I want to save Juvia. Even if it cost me my own life. I would die happy knowing she is fine." I say
"Good and what of Astrid? I wasnt able to save her because of my selfishness, in a sense. I loved her and our child but my honor was more important to me. Even though I'd invited a Devil into my life and married her. My honor was everything to me .... My pride blinded me from what was more important in the end. I gained a lot but I lost it all when I ignored Astrid that day."
"You're Atlas!"
"Yea"
"But ...... How?" Gray asks.

Atlas pov
"Atlas lets run and save ourselves and our family we will rebuild our kingdom. Most of the city is aware of the enemy and have protected what's theirs and fled."
"No! Astrid don't you even think about it. Get to the boats. You and Juliet!!! I'll protect my men and our kindgom!"
Dutch warriors broke down the door and rushed in in formation allowing me to see Roman in the center of the enemy. He was Astrids top general. He spiked my intuition from the start as someone who shouldn't be trusted. Yet he swore his loyalty to Astrid regardless her conquest. And now look at him waltzing in my fucking halls!!! Challenging the shit out of everyone in my kingdom. And above that threatening my happiness.
"I was...... I made a decision that day and if I had known that the consequences to choosing honor over love and family I would have fled with Astrid. Sometimes, even when tour intentions are in the right place, this life isn't always happy ever after.

At that Atlas stood next to Gray. His blond and platinum tress swept into a man bun. His brownish hair was trimmed low on his face and his gray eyes shined brightly.
"Thank you Gray"
"Don't thank me yet old man let's fulfill our legacy first."
