chapter 22

InSu POV

Days passed and Tao recovered slowly. I told Chen about Tao staying at the hospital and he trusted me and knows that he just a regular patient. Sometimes Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, Yeol, and Baek comes to visit him. Chen is always at work and honestly our relationship isn't that strong. We barely talk and we never see each other. But we're trying to make it work. I was with Taeyeon, "InSu we're gonna go now" Xiumin said with the rest. "OK bye guys." "B-Bye Taeyeon" Baek said blushing and walked away.  "AWW HOW CUTE" all of the guys said embarrassing Baek. "Bye Baek" she said while giggling. I went inside Tao's room and checked up on him. "Do u have any pain, Mr. Huang?" "Just my head and when I move my ribs hurt." "Thats normal but it seems that ur recovering." "What about my legs?" "Once ur recovery is done u will be on a wheelchair, and will have to go through physical therapy." "Ok thank you,  Dr. Kang." We became strangers. Its better this way. My heart hurts whenever I see him that I cant take it. He was my first love.

Tao POV

I've decided to pretend I dont know InSu after her outburst that day and seeing her hurt its what I can at least do. Im happy that I met the guys again though. Kai and Sehun grew up alot and for Xiumin hyung...his height is still the same. Chen works far away that he cant make but itll be awkward anyways seeing his girlfriend's ex boyfriend after 5 years. One day I was reading until I heard the knock on my door and it opened. I already had my check up. "Who is-" the person came in. It was Chen. "Hey" he said smiling.

InSu POV

Chen came to visit me. "Hey" I said. "Hey lets go outside and talk" he said. We didnt even hug, kiss, or hold hands. Our relationship isnt strong anymore. We sat down on a wooden park bench. "I know ur still in love with him" he said. "What? Who?" "Tao, I know u still love him." "No I love u. Hes just a patient! Nothing happened! Ever I was little I had a crush on u!" "I know but I know u still love him." "But I choose u!" "I know and im thankful for that but our relationship is falling apart I think we were ment to me just friends dont u think the same?" I guess it was better when we were friends. "Chen." "Im thankful that u came to me and u were an amazing girlfriend but ur heart belongs to Tao and he seems to really love u." "He probably hates me now though." "Why?" "I kinda yelled at him." "No he still loves u." "How do u know?" ~FLASHBACK~

Chen POV

I walked inside Tao's room and he was surprised to see me. "Hey" I said smiling. "Hey" he said. I sat down on the chair next to him. "I heard about the accident are u better now?" "Yea ive recovered but my head hurts." "Dont worry InSu will take care of u." "Yea...InSu. I had no idea she worked here." "Haha yea that must have been a shock for u." "Alittle." "I know its awkward between us because of u know but I wanted to ask u something." "What?" "Do u still love her?" He looked at me thinking I must be joking. "Chen, we broke up a long time ago." "Do u still love her?" "Even of I do its too late. Shes happy with u and I cant just come and mess up everything." "We're not happy. Our relationship is falling apart that its better when we were friends. I know u two are ment to be." ~FLASHBACK ENDS~

InSu POV

"He never stopped loving u InSu." "But...but I cant just leave u for him." "Ur not. Ur going to the person ur ment to be with." "I dont know." "Do u still love him?" "...yes...I still love him." Chen gave me a soft smile. "Then be with him." We both stood up and I hugged him. "Thank u Chen, for being there for me." "Im always here for u, buddy." We both laughed and said our goodbyes. I stopped by my place for some stuff and came back to work. Night came, "want a ride home InSu" Taeyeon asked. "No I have my car and im gonna stay here alittle longer. Goodnight!" "Ok goodnight!" I walked inside Tao's room. He just looked at me shocked. "Do u still love me" I asked him. "Yea and I never stopped." He said down on the bed next to him. "I love u too paboo." He held me and connected ours lips. I missed them. I missed him.
