Blaise and Daphne arrived early to Draco's apartment the next morning. They both rubbed their eyes tiredly. Blaise flung himself onto one of the lounges dramatically, closing his eyes.

"Mind telling us why you called us over so early?" Daphne murmured, the sleep still in her eyes.

Draco had called his friends to his apartment for help. Last night Hermione had told him that she wanted his help in practising her magic again. Sure, he could teach her everything himself, but he knew there were still things that his friends did better than him. "I need both of you to give me a hand," Draco spoke, sipping on a cup of coffee.

"We still have tomorrow to do the mission, do you want to get a head start?" Daphne asked curiously. Hermione furrowed her eyebrows as she sat, curled up on one of the lounges and listened to their conversation. Draco simply shook his head and gestured toward Hermione saying, "Go ahead, Granger."

Hermione sat up slightly straighter and almost regretted the words that came out of her mouth. She felt somewhat embarrassed, "My magic skills have - well, let's just say they aren't as dandy as they used to be."

"It's inevitable," Blaise said with his face on the lounge, "You were without magic for so long." Then, suddenly, he sat up quickly and shot Draco an inquiring look, "Wait a minute."

Draco raised his eyebrows and took another sip of his coffee. Blaise continued, "How the hell did Granger shoot that silencing charm on me yesterday? I mean - where did she get her wand? Did you have it all that time, Malfoy?"

"Well, it wasn't as if I planned on returning it to someone that was as good as dead according to everyone including her best friends. I did try to give it to the Order, but they thought I had put a curse on it." Draco almost spat their organisation name, "Stupid fools." A part of Hermione couldn't blame them for being suspicious, though. Draco was intimidating and close to the Dark Lord. Those were both traits that didn't go down well with the Order.

"So you need our help teaching you?" Daphne quizzed.

Her question earnt a nod from Hermione as she spoke, "Yes, please. I understand if you don't want to - but I swear it will only take a day and I should be back to normal."

"It will take longer than that, but a day is all it should take for you to relearn the basics," Blaise interjected.

Draco knew that his friends would happily help, whether it be for their egos or just genuinely to help out a past classmate. While Daphne excelled in healing, something he was almost hopeless at, Blaise was a excellent duelling partner. Blaise, unsurprisingly, had a lot more patience than Draco when it came to teaching another witch or wizard how to duel. He had his master traits in specific areas of magic, of course, but it generally involved luring in the opposite sex.

"I can't believe we are teaching Hermione Granger how to do things. Oh, how time has changed." Blaise grinned towards Hermione. What a jerk, she thought. But at the same time, she knew that this would be coming.

"So when do we start?" Daphne asked, now with a spark of excitement in her tone. Draco put down his coffee cup and looked towards Hermione again.

She was regaining colour quickly. Draco had noticed this last night when she blushed just about 50 shades of crimson at their encounter in his wardrobe. It was refreshing to see her show human emotion after what he had witnessed at her house, where she resembled more of a skeleton than a human. A shudder ran down his body at the thought of how ghostly she had looked, to the point where he hadn't even recognised her. It hadn't fully sunk in, having her in his apartment; eating his food and healing by the second. If anyone had approached 7th Year Draco Malfoy and told him he would have to share a living space with Hermione Granger, he most likely would have thrown the first hex he could think of at them.
