Lucy had stabbed the woman in the back, letting her body topple onto the floor with a splash as It sank into the pool of blood. A few groans escaped her mouth as the life seeped away. Her blood ran down Lucy's wrist, but Lucy didn't seem to care, she just stared at the woman's writhing body, entranced with what she had done.

The woman whispered with the energy she was clinging onto. I knelt down to her, curious. "You were supposed to be dead...and soon you will be." She croaked. Horrified, I took a step back. Lucy did what she though was a merciful act. She knelt down as I did and smothered the woman's mouth and nose with her hand. The body flopped around frantically, fighting Lucy. "Pin her down," Lucy said. I looked at her astonished, realising what she was asking me to do. "Dammit Robyn just do it!" Lucy yelled. In fear I did as I was told, pinning the legs onto the cold stone floor.

Eventually the squirming stopped, and Lucy's grasp loosened. I looked about for the exit, wanting to leave. Lucy still sat there with the body resting on her knees. "For safe measures..." She said. A knife was wielded in her hand and without thought it was plunged deep into the body's chest. My heart had dropped, like all the feelings had been stripped away from me. "But she was dead." I said, toneless. Lucy's glance glided upwards, placing a cold stare upon me.

We left, neither of us saying a word to each other. I stepped into the light and was guided by Lucy to the main reception. Hope sat anxiously on the chairs, reading a magazine to pass the time. When we approached she slammed it onto the table and hugged me tight. And then there was silence. I awaited Lucy to say something but she didn't. Finally I spoke before the silence became awkwardly long. "They were magical," I said.

"I never knew you were that dangerous," Lucy said slyly. I hung my head in shame, finally realising the damage my powers could do. Hope gave Lucy a piercing look and mouthed something to her. "You think I'm dangerous?" I asked timidly. "I do," Lucy said. Hope gulped, backing away from the fire that was brewing. "How do we know it won't be one of us next time?" Lucy said, prodding for an argument. I looked up, infuriated. "Don't ever assume I would use my powers against you," I said, trying to stay calm. Lucy turned her aggression to Hope this time, "How long do you think you can defend her?!" She yelled.

With that, Lucy rushed out of the hospital. "Please, forgive her Robyn." Hope pleaded. "She was there for me when I first got diagnosed, she saved my life." She said. I looked at her, confused. "Saved your life?" I asked. "Lucy found out that one of the doctors was prescribing me the wrong medication, It could of killed me." Hope explained.

I slumped myself on the chairs, taking everything in. "Everyone is going to get hurt being around me." I said glumly, looking down at the floor. Hope comforted me with a hand on my shoulder. "People want to hurt me but I don't know why." I said, holding back the tears that welled up inside. "How do I fix everything?" I asked, knowing Hope would never know the answer. She let me pour everything out , till there were no more tears left to cry. I stroked Hope's hair then pulled away. As I did a clump of blonde hair lay entwined between my fingers, Hope looked upon it in horror. Hope swept her hair to the side and another chunk fell out, leaving her lap coated in a layer of thick blonde hair.
