I want to hug you.
I want to kiss you, to hold you,
to touch you, to talk all night and
to whisper honey into your ears
I just want to love you.
I want to run circles with my thumb
on your hands and cheeks,
those which burn like the roses
on February 15. I want-
I want to so bad that sometimes it hurts
every damned part of me.
I want to lay in a bed with you, under the covers.
Hair messier than the storms outside,
but your amber eyes, as smitten as ever
warming me up inside.
Oh, what a joy would it be
to have you in love with me.

PoetryA collection of short poems about being a teenager in the modern world, losing parts of yourself to others and loving some with every cell in your body, realizing that sometimes you change but that doesn't mean the world changes too.
