"You're sure you don't want to tell me where we're going?" The older girl asked while Lisa was still focused on the road.
"Jen."
"I just want to know..." She pouted, and Lisa tried so hard not to look at her to stay focused on her driving, not wanting to kill them both.
"Jen." She wanted to smile so bad, but she had to play cold.
"Please?" Jennie asked with her cute voice, and Lisa almost broke. Almost.
"Je-"
"Okay, I'll stop I'm sorry" Jennie said, still pouting. "You're not fun"
"oh, you'll change your mind when you'll see where we're heading" Lisa answered while chuckling.
Jennie didn't say anything, knowing that the younger girl wouldn't tell her anyway.
After a few minutes, Lisa parked in front of...
well, in front of nothing, really.
They were in the middle of nothing. As lost as they could ever dream of being.
"Did you bring me here to murder me?" Jennie asked, half joking half serious. "Because my screams are really high and loud so you'll need to take me somewhere even farther from the city or else-"
"shut up" Lisa cut her off.
And Jennie did. Not that she had a choice anyway, Lisa's hand on her mouth was preventing her from letting out any sound. But the fact that the girl had to go so close to her to shut her up, the brunette's back pressed against Lisa's chest, feeling the younger's breathing on the back of her neck... Jennie wouldn't have talked, anyway. All of the words were stuck in her throat, and her heart was beating so crazily in her chest that any effort, even as simple as talking, would have probably cost her her life.
Lisa noticed Jennie's state not long after, releasing her from her hold immediately while mumbling a quiet "sorry".
Jennie wouldn't admit it, but she already missed her touch.
"Just follow me"
They walked for a few minutes, surrounded only by trees and old, abandoned houses (if they could still call it like that). The path was only enlightened by the faded light of the moon, and the few streets lights that were somehow still working.
Normally, Jennie would have been terrified. The place looked like an horror movie set. But for some reasons, Lisa's presence made her forget about everything, every fears or anything negative was out of her head.
It was just Lisa.
Soon enough, they arrived in front of a building, left for ruins. The stairs were still there though, not covered by any wall, or barely any roof, but still there. And Jennie followed Lisa, as if it was completely normal to go in such a place for their first date.
When they arrived at the top of the building, Lisa placed her hands in front of Jennie's eyes.
"Trust me" She whispered in her hear, sending shivers down Jennie's spine.
"I do"
"Good" The brunette could hear the smile in Lisa's voice, it made her heart race even more.
They took a few steps forward, and Lisa made Jennie turn around, then she took her hand off her eyes.
The view was...
breathtaking.
From where they were, they could see a part of Seoul, all of the city lights contrasting with the ones from the stars, and surrounded by trees and abandoned buildings. It was just breathtaking.
"This is..."
"I know" Lisa smiled widely. "This is beautiful" She said, and Jennie hummed, her eyes locked on the view before her.
"Do you know why I brought you here ?" Lisa asked, looking at Jennie with sparkles in her eyes. Jennie only shook her head. "This is my secret place. I discovered it when I was looking for a cool place to take pictures, and fell in love with it." She had a smile brighter than any stars "I come here to dance, or just when I need to be alone. I love this place more than anything, and I wanted to share it with you. Because I want you to know that you are special to me, and I'm not used to say that, but I mean it." Lisa stopped for a few seconds, taking a deep breath, playing with the hem of her shirt. "You stole my heart, Jen. And I know this is so cheesy, and I'm very bad at this, but I really like you, for some twisted reason. I want to be with you"
Jennie felt her eyes getting teary. She had expected anything from Lisa, anything, but that.
She felt like her heart could explode, like her legs could give up on her anytime.
She had never felt so good in her life.
And she didn't know where that sudden burst of confidence came from, but she jumped in Lisa's arms, and she kissed her.
She kissed her like she was the most beautiful thing in the world, because she was. She kissed her like she was the love of her life, like it was her last kiss ever.
She let all of her emotions take over her, and she kissed her like she loved her, because she did.
Because Lisa was her soulmate, for some twisted reason, like she said.
She thinks that the happiest moment of her life might be when she felt Lisa kiss her back, with as much passion, if not more.
It was everything she ever wanted, everything she ever needed.
They parted after a minute, but it felt like an eternity later for the two girls.
"I really like you too, you know" Jennie said quietly, trying to catch her breath.
"I kinda got it" Lisa chuckled, before pulling the brunette in for another kiss, and then another, and another.
Nothing could ever top this moment.
It was only them in the world, and they were the happiest people ever.
Well... it took them long enough hhhh
