Ch. 4 New Everything

Jordyn POV
After we finished eating, we all go in the living room to hangout.

Kevin: Can I ask you another question Jordyn?
Jordyn: Sure.
Kevin: How long were you in the orphanage?
Jordyn: I was told since I was a baby.
Mitch: OMG. That's so sad.
Jordyn: I never knew why, but prayed everyday that I would get adopted. And it finally happened.

We all laughed.

Avi: Since you said that you can sing. Can you sing to us?
Jordyn: I don't know.
Kirstin: Please. Do it for me.
Jordyn: Okay. Let me think on what I can sing.

I had to think of a Pentatonix song to sing. One hit me.

They all clapped for me.

Avi: That was amazing.
Kirstin: That was so good.

I hug mommy and she hugs me back.

Scott: Do you have any friends?
Jordyn: Yes. Thier names are Stacy, Amber, Trevor, and Harry. And they are big fans of you guys.
Mitch: Really? You go to school with them?
Jordyn: Just with Amber? Stacy, Trevor, and Harry are much older than me.
Kirstin: Okay.
Jordyn: Yeah they always look out for me to keep me happy.
Kevin: So they were like "family" to you.
Jordyn: Yes. I met Amber at school and we became friends. And I met her brother Trevor and his friends Stacy and Harry who are twins. They didn't want to hangout with me at first, but when they heard I was an orphan the felt bad and they always made sure that I was safe and secure.
Mitch: That is so sweet.

We talked some more and then Uncle Kevin, Uncle Avi, Uncle Scott, and Auntie Mitch left and went home. While I was helping mommy clean up, I got a bit sleepy.

Kirstin: Are you sleepy?
Jordyn: Yeah.
Kirstin: Oh my baby. Come on let's get you ready for bed.

So mommy picks me and takes me to my room. She helps me put on my PJ'S and tucks me into bed.

Jordyn: Are you gonna take me to school tomorrow?
Kirstin: Yes I am. Now get some sleep okay.
Jordyn: Okay. Good night mommy.
Kirstin: Good night sweetie. Sleep tight.

Kirstin POV
I kiss her forehead and I turn the lights out of her room. I go and finish cleaning up the kitchen. When I finished, I put Olaf to bed.

Kirstin: Come on Olaf. Time to sleep.

He goes to his bed to sleep. I go upstairs to my room, take a shower, and I go to bed.
I wake up the next morning. I go to Jordyn's room to wake her up.

Kirstin: Jordyn, wake up sweetie.

Jordyn POV
I feel someone shake me. I open my eyes and it's mommy.

Kirstin: Good morning, baby girl.
Jordyn: Good morning.
Kirstin: Let's get ready for today. I'll make us some breakfast and then I'll take you to school.
Jordyn: Okay.

So I get out of bed and I go get ready for today. Once I finished, I make up my bed. I go downstairs to meet mommy.

Jordyn: Mommy, can you fix my hair?
Kirstin: Sure. How do you want it?
Jordyn: Pigtails.
Kirstin: Haha. Okay.
