Annie's POV

I'm currently throwing on a random pair of shorts and a t-shirt, getting ready to go talk with Maddie to make things okay again. But really, it's like ten in the morning and I'm barely alive.

Me and Demi didn't have time to talk about the fight that made me leave last night, so I imagine we will tonight or something. But, right now, I'm not so worried about that and I'm more worried about the thing with Maddie.

"Hey," Demi said, walking in my room, "I'm going to go drop you off at moms, go have lunch with Wilmer, and then go to my tour meeting."

Lunch? With Wilmer? So soon? Okay.

"Oh," I said, slipping on some flip flops, "alright."

Demi just kinda sighed and walked out of the room. Should I worry why she hasn't talked to me about why I left? Does it mean she doesn't.. Care?

I shook the thoughts from my head as I made my way downstairs to the living room where Demi should be waiting, but she isn't.

I slowly walked to the kitchen and saw her playing an intense game on her phone. She groaned, then turned her back to me, continuing to play her game.

I took this opportunity to creep up behind her and squeeze both of her sides, which is her tickle spot. She screamed, dropping her phone and swatting at the air, making me laugh so hard I was doubled over, clutching onto my stomach.

"You little asshole cracked my fucking phone!" Demi complained.

"You're rich," I said over my laughter, "you can afford five more iPhones."

The look on her face was priceless as she ran her index finger over the cracks with her mouth gaped open. "Dammit."

I kept laughing, just replaying that moment in my head because of how funny it was.

"You're such a bitch." Demi joked.. I think.

"Your upgrade is in like two weeks, you'll be fine." I said, standing up.

"Whatever." She playfully said, laughing at me. "Come on, ass. Let's get in the car."

••

We both walked into the house, being greeted by the scent of bacon and eggs.

We made our way into the kitchen to see Eddie at the table and Di at the stove, no sign of Maddie or Dallas. Dall is probably either sleeping or with one of her action clients, though and Maddie is probably sleeping.

Di and Eddie walked over and gave both of us hugs and made small talk.

"So," I said, "where's Maddie?"

"I was just in her room and she was waking up. You can go in there and talk and get that over with if you want."

I sighed and nodded. "Okay."

"Alright," Demi said, "I'm leaving."

She walked over to me and pulled me into a tight hug, kissing me on the head. "Text me and stuff. Be good. I miss you already."

I smiled, hugging her even more tightly. That's something we always say to each other, 'I miss you already.'

"I miss you already more." I said, even though it was grammatically incorrect.

She giggled, "Love you baby girl."

"Love you too." I said, pulling away.

Now, the hard part.

I walked past the kitchen and continued towards Maddie's room, trying to create something good in my head to say, but I couldn't come up with anything.
