Lorry's Story

Chapter 14

"Thankyou Mrs. Johnson" Lorry gave her warmest smile.

She was satisfied with her answers. Knowing that she did study hard for the finals. She walked back to her chair and waited for 30 minutes more since their time is one hour and she finished her exam for 30 minutes.

She looked at the other students, some of them are concentrating on the exam, one of them is Rianne. The smartest student in Engineering class. Not just engineering but mostly every class she goes to. Her and Lorry have only two classes in common. English and Physiology. The two of them are competing, verbal and non-verbal. But even if Lorry gets a high score, Rianne is always there to beat her. But those two aren't taking it personally. They are good friends since they can understand each other when it comes to studies.

Then someone tapped her shoulder.

Vincent.

"Hey" He said.

"What?"

"What's the answer in-"

"I don't know." She dismissed him.

"C'mon, just tell-"

"No!" She wispered shout.

"How about the-"

"I won't tell you! Stop asking me!" She dismissed him again.

The day went by and she satisfyingly answered all the questions given on her exam.

Their classes were dismissed earlier than usual since it's exam day. So she got home early. The other guys invited her to hang out but she refused to.

On her way to her house, she noticed a big truck infront of the house across from theirs.

She looked closely and saw that there were people who are transferring furnitures and appliances inside.

ahh, there must be a new neighbor. Well, I hope they're quiet because the last time was very very noisy especially at night.

She just shrugged it off and went inside her house and straight upstairs to her bedroom and locked the door.
