shadows of the past
isn't there something so sad,
about the fact these words
come so easily from me,
so fluently you'd almost .believe it's a second language?
That I know emotional pain so well,
I could make it sound poetic?
Well I dare say there is nothing
beautiful about the words formed
from the shadows of the past
It is only the ugly and painful truth that rears it's head in warning.
