Hola! Here you are, lovelies;

Chapter 11...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pony's POV
When I said that Kathlee had no idea what she was doing to me, I meant it.
She never left my mind the entire morning, and it was like the only person to ever matter to me was her.
I felt high and deluded but I guess that's just love... Falling down a rabbit hole and searching for that one person that makes you lose sight of all the bad things inhabiting your life.
Kathlee.
Kathlee was my person.
She was my first ever glimpse of real beauty, and I never wanted to let that go, it was like watching an angel; dreaming of her. My Kath.
---
"Pony? C'mon man, snap out of it, do you think Marie'll like me? Like forreal? Do I look okay? Man I'm nervous..."
I could tell, obviously. Johnny was shaking like a leaf and nearly as pale as a ghost, even after my numerous attempts at reassurance.
"You'll be fine. You look great, and- Man quit fixin' your hair! She'll know your nerves are shot, alright?"
His large sullen brown eyes shot up to meet mine and his hands dropped instantly. "Sorry..."
"Are you boys ready yet? It's been near 15 minutes, c'mon!" I heard Kathlee call from outside the door, "ya idjits..."
"Hey I heard that!" I yelled out, bolting to the door and grabbing Kathlee by the waist mid-sprint, "just because pretty princess Cade over there had to beautify himself for the big ball, that gives you no right to offend me so!" I faux gasped, grinning down at her like an moron.
"Idjit," she giggled, loosening herself from my grasp and slipping on a pair of Soda's old sneakers.
"Pretty princess Cade, you comin'?" She hollered, still chuckling to herself in a way that made me want to sweep her off her feet and kiss her till I was blue in the face.
"Yeah, yeah..." Johnny sighed, grabbing a pack of cigs off the counter (Darry must of went shopping), and walking out with Kath.
--
Marie really was pretty; just as beautiful as Kath, only lacking the fact that I didn't see her the same. No angelic glow or heart-flipping smile that I saw, but Johnny was another story.
He hadn't taken his eyes off of her from the minute we walked through her door, and all he did was sit on her couch, staring, grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
"Johnny? Are you okay...?" Marie laughed as she carried four Coke's to the table in front of us from the kitchen; her voice silk, like honey.
"Oh, I'm fine... Good as gold, Marie, thank you."
"No problem whatsoever hun. But uh...now what?" She smirked, sitting down across from me, flashing her perfectly white teeth and revealing her tiny cheek dimples, "what d'yall wanna do?"
"Well..." Kath sighed, leaning back against the couch that we were seated on, "I don't generally feel like leaving the perimeter of this sofa..."
There was a collective giggle and then an awkward silence before Johnny piped in. "Why don't we play a game?"
"Spin the bottle?" I grinned, poking Kathlee in the side and laughing as she slapped my hand away.
"Not today, big boy; what about... Never Have I Ever?"
Everyone mumbled in agreement and Marie offered to start.
"Never have I ever...worn a dress..." She looked down at her lap smiling coyly, with a hint of sadness sparkling in her baby blues, "but who has?"
Kath raised her hand as did Johnny and I, sparking giggles from the girls.
"Halloween, two years ago, I hate my brothers, and we're moving on..." I laughed, catching Johnny's eyes every now and then.
"Alrighty...well...who's next?" Kath smiled, pointedly staring at me, "Ponyboy?"
"Never have I ever had my first kiss. Kathlee? Marie?"
They both shook their heads, glancing everywhere that wasn't near Johnny or I.
"Well," Johnny sighed, "that's mighty surprising, with both you girls being so pretty and all..."
Kath blushed, and swayed her foot beside mine, looking up into my eyes.
'So perfect...' I mouthed at her, resulting in a rosier glow to her face.
"Ahem...lovebirds?" Marie laughed, drawing our attention back to the game, "it's your turn Kathaloo."
My tiny angel smiled at the nickname and glanced out to the window, as if recalling some pleasant memory.
"Never have I ever gone a day without crying..." She giggled, "pathetic I know, but man, my life used to suck before I met the boys."
I grinned proudly, as did Johnny, before clueing in to what she had said.
"Not a single day?"
"Not that I can I remember, though it mostly happens when I wake up from my nightmares, so...yeah, it sucks but I deal with it. It's life."
"No...it's not," I frowned, scrunching up my nose in concentration, "that's not the way it has to be, especially not for someone like you, or Marie... No one deserves a life like that."
"Pony...that's swell, but what are you going to do about it?"
I grinned, regaining some mental stability and grabbing Kathlee's hand, squeezing gently, "give you the best day you've ever had."
