Natalie looked at Joe in shock but she was also excited. She remembered Jason was it and they were playing tag so she started to get up and run. Before she could she felt soft hands on her back that sent shivers down her spine and butterflies in her stomach as she heard "you're it" from behind. She turned around to see Jason running away. She started to imagine her and Jason running on a beach. Her daydream came to an end when she heard Joe calling for her. She snapped back into reality and looked at Joe. She didn't know what to do so she tagged him and started running frantically. She caught up to Jason and he was standing in front of her grandmas new house, staring. She went up to him and asked if he's ok or if he needed something. Jason turned his head to face her and she could see the terror in his eyes. Natalie grabbed his shoulder and shook him asking frantically if he's ok. Jason stutters saying "I don't want to talk about it" He hugs Natalie and whispers "Just don't go in the basement" She releases from the hug with a confused face and asks "why?" Jason shakes his head and says "I don't want to talk about it right now just don't go down there" Natalie get worried thinking of all the things that could've happened and all the reasons he doesn't want her to go down there. Jason pats h r on the back while suggesting to go back to his house and Natalie agrees. They walk back over and see Joe sitting on the steps of their porch with a glass of water. They walk over as Joe stands up with two more glasses for Jason and Natalie. Natalie smiles as she thanks Joe for the water but denies it. Joe looks at her confused and so does Jason. Joe asks her "why? Aren't you tired?" She shakes her head and says "I'm use to it. I have a big family with a LOT of cousins so running around is like breathing for us" they all laugh and Jason mentions "Joe and I do basketball and soccer and we don't even run that much" they continue to laugh as Natalie jokes "You probably don't run because you're on the bench all the time" Jason tries not to laugh and acts offended as his says "Sister I'm shook that you disrespect me like that" in his James Charles voice. The all hurts laughing including Jason because he couldn't hold it in for much longer. Joe suggests they go inside but Natalie was kind of iffy at first because she didn't want to get in trouble by her parents plus she was shy. She told Joe that she was going to ask first and so they waited outside for her. She walks over next door then remembers what Jason said. She gets scared and is nervous to walk inside at this point. She grabs the door knob and with every crack it made a piece of her fell apart as she grew more and more scared. She opens the door to see all of them sitting on the couch eating her grandmas homemade apple pie. She felt relieved to see all of them ok and even alive. She continues to ask "Can I hang out with my friends insides heir house? They invited me in" Her grandma gets up and starts to walk to the kitchen as she asks "Oh here. Give them some pie!" She goes into the kitchen which you could see from the living room since the house was small with everything on one floor. Her mom firmly says "no we don't know them" Her grandma puts the pie down but Natalie puts on a fight. She starts with "They're my best friends!" "You just met them!" Her mom interrupts. "No I didn't!" Natalie continues. The room goes silent so Natalie lowers her tone "I known them since third grade. We just got reunited." "PLEASE can I go!?" She starts to raise her voice. Her mom sits there puzzled and asks "The-the twins?" Natalie looks at her with surprise and says "Yes! Jason and Joe!" Her mom looks shocked and says "They died six years ago...."
