A new home

As soon as Jason said those three words Natalie ran into his arms and hugged him for what felt like centuries. She kissed him multiple times thanking him but still didn't feel like the thank you was enough t make up for it. She put her arm around him and told her grandparents "This is my boyfriend. You've met him already haha but we're dating!!" She jumped for joy but her grandparents were asleep. They all laughed but quietly so they wouldn't wake up. Natalie gave her grandma one last kiss on her forehead before she left. They started walking over to arrange sleeping and stuff. Natalie and Jason decided to share a bed since it was big enough. Joe, of course, kept his bedroom. Their mom walked through the front door and Natalie immediately hugged her thanking her. She hugged back after getting of the shock. She told her it was no big deal while smiling. "It's feels good knowing I gave somebody a home" Their mom said. Natalie smiled and Jason pulled her away from his mom for a hug. He released "Mom, this is Natalie" His mom nodded "Yes I know" "Well, we're dating!" Is all Jason said before their mom jumped for joy hugging Natalie and Jason at the same time telling them how happy she was. Joe felt left out as he stood there awkwardly. Once Jason realized he nudged his head signaling his mom "uh mom" he said use enough for her to hear. Their mom released and said "Awe Joseph honey I'm sorry" She hugged him. Joe hugged back as they smiled. Natalie and Jason watched in awe as big bad Joe was hugging his mom. Joe released and said "Shut up!" They couldn't help but laugh as Joe stormed to his room but Natalie seen that smile on his face. Natalie looked up to Jason as he nudged his arm trying to get her attention. Their mom went back in her room and Jason looked at her. He stared deep into her eyes and Natalie blinked to break the awkward contact. Jason laughed and said "I won! You blinked first!" Natalie laughs and playfully punches his arm whining "No fair I wasn't ready haha!" They stop play fighting as Jason hugs her lightly grasping her shoulders. Natalie puts her head in his chest to listen to his heart beat which she found precious and valued. It moved perfectly in sync with hers, but only she knew because she feels his heartbeat when she cuddles him or hug him, even when they sleep she cuddles and feels it. Jason let go of the hug and asked "Don't you have to stay at your grandparents until your stuff comes?" Natalie stopped to think about it before remembering what her grandparents said. Her eyes widened then she kissed Jason quickly and started running back as she yelled "Bye baby love you!" She gets t her grandparents house and apologizes frantically "I'm so sorry I'm late I just-" Her grandpa interrupts "You realize it's only 5:00...right?" Natalie stops and looks at her phone. "Oh I totally forgot my time is 3 hours ahead!" They all had a good laugh as her grandma walked out "Well while you're here, why don't you get your bed ready" Natalie looked confused "What bed? What room?" Her grandpa said "The room is in the hallway behind you and there's a bed in there for you to sleep on so why don't you put your sheets and stuff on it so it'll bed ready later" Natalie agreed mainly because she doesn't want to tell her grandparents no. She goes to a drawer and pulls it open. All the sheets were old so she's been using them her whole life event since her grandma lived in her old her, even the house before that! She carefully took the sheets out making sure not to rip them. She goes back to the room remembering what Jason said about the basement. She got paranoid to walk up to the bed thinking there was someone err something under it. She turned around to see a slide door closet and it terrified her since she's paranoid and thinks there's something in it. She runs out the room but tries to keep it casual and goes to the living room. Her grandparents seen the horror and terror in her eyes and ask her what's wrong eventually forcing it out of her. "Jason said there's a man hiding in this house"
