Childhood best friend

The familiar face

Natalie didn't call to them and ask if it Jason because if it wasn't she would be embarrassed. Instead, she waits for them to "make the first move" She stood there and waited until she heard them ask "Natalie?" Her face lights up and so does his. She runs over to him with her arms out yelling "Jason!" They run together and hug for like 5 minutes telling each other how much they missed them. Natalie started tearing up from happiness and she could see Jason holding his tears back but they were building up, threatening the fall from his eyes. They eventually did and he's eyes were bright blue. Natalie cries of sadness but continue to play it off as happiness and says "I thought you forgot now that you're...well famous" Jason looks at yher with his eyes wider than his mouth. He looks at her and says "I could never forget you, you're my best friend" Those words hit Natalie right in her soft heart as she wasn't expecting Jason to think of her as a best friend. She always wanted to be best friends but didn't think Jason would want to. She hugged Jason again then asked "Where's Joe?" Jason releases from the hug and says "Wanna see him?" Natalie smiles and nods then they start to walk. She asked Jason "So you live around here?" Jason nods and says "Yeah, I live right around the corner" Her anxiety started to kick in as Jason was walking into the direction of her grandma's house. She thought to herself "What if he lives close to my grandma?! Or on the same street!" She also grew confused because she thought Jason moved but shrugged it off because she was happy she's finally seeing him. He turned onto your grandmas street and she couldn't help but say "Mt grandma loves down here!!" Jason looks at her with a grin and says "So you're visiting her?" "yeah she just moved in I'm helping her unpack" She said to him. Jason makes a smart remark and says "Looks to me you're hanging out with your best friend" as he smiled looking at  her. Natalie dropped her jaw while smiling and play punched him in the arm. It was a weak punch because she was still shocked when he calls her "best friend" During the walk Natalie starts to feel...weird. She shrugs it off and asks Jason "Are we almost there?" He looks at her with a grin and said "Is that your grandmas?" She sees from the corner of her eye that he was pointing so she looks to see where he's pointing. He was pointing at her grandmas house. She was shocked and wondered how he knew. She asked him "Yeah...how'd you know?" "There's a moving truck" Jason said while laughing. Natalie laughs too then asks "So why'd you ask" Jason pointed to a red house next to it and said "because that ones mine" Her eyes get wide and she smiles. She asked Jason  if he could get Joe because she was kind of shy to knock on the door. As Jason came walking out with Joe Natalie felt that feeling again.  At that moment, Natalie got feelings for her best friend....
