A little further into the movie Joe set his bowl of popcorn on Natalie's legs then stood up. He walked in front of the lovebirds on the couch cuddling and went to the bathroom. Jason brought his arm from Natalie's waist to her shoulder and pulled her closer kissing her forehead. Natalie smiled and dug her face in his collarbone getting a nice whiff of his cologne. Jason put his face on the top of her head and breathed in the sweet scent of warm vanilla she radiated the satisfying aroma of. Joe came back out breaking the bitter sweet silence with "what'd I miss huh?" In a surfer kind of tone ya know. "Nothing mu-" Jason began only for Natalie to start nerding out about what happened. "Dude she found the mad hatter and and he was at the tea table and it was funny because the rabbit threw a cup at at the uh the dude that was after Alice and he was all like YOURE LATE FOR TEAAAA and threw it but before that Alice had to hide in a tea cup and and-" Joe laughed and sat back down. "You got a cute one" He jokes to Jason. Jason smiled looking down at Natalie. "Yup" And kisses the top of her head. The movie continued and Jason and Natalie finished their bowl of popcorn. Natalie low key wanted more but Jason insisted he was fine. He didn't like when the kernels got between his teeth. Natalie didn't want to feel fat and make another bag for herself so Joe would let her sneak some pieces out of his bowl. She grinned towards him as she reached for a handful. She mouthed a "thank you" with a mouthful of popcorn. Joe covered his smile holding his thumb up. Natalie jerked forward preventing a laugh covering her mouth. Jason moved his hand from her shoulder to pat her back. "You alright lil mommas?" Natalie swallowed the popcorn and coughed assuring him it was just something she thought of as she reached for her drink. Joe reached for his and drank out of it as his stick his pinky up and looked up and towards Natalie making a joke out of it. Natalie spit her rootbeer back in her cup causing Joe to almost spit his out as he held his hand under his chin. "Holy shit" He said leaning forward setting his glass down. Natalie laughed nonstop and sat up. Her back felt cold after being on Jason's warm body for so long. She set her cup down as well and went to the kitchen. Jason glanced at them once in awhile but trusted his twin enough not to do anything. Just a little paranoid for what he felt was no reason. Little did he know what really happened in their past. They clean themselves up with paper towels and continued to laughed. After about 2-3 minutes of uncontrollable laughing and barely standing they hugged each other to keep balance. Only in the hug did their laughter stop. Joe squeezed her shoulders as Natalie didn't really wrap her hands around him. She brought her hands up to his shoulder while her arms were behind him. They both let out a huge breath and calmed down. "I don't know what I'd do without you Natalie you really are a miracle" Natalie froze and just squeezed tighter as a placebo for words. Jason was sucked into the movie and they still hadn't let go after just swaying back and forth for almost 2 minutes now. They had their eyes closed and stood on the cold floor of the kitchen in front of the window looking out into the woods explored by the heartbroken who needed to get away from home once in awhile. They both took in a deep breath and let it all out before finally letting go. They looked in each other's eyes and as Joe's eyes trailed to Natalie's lips, she went back to the living room where she sat next to Jason and tried to get comfortable again. She just couldn't sit still. She had all this energy is her now. She reached for the remote and paused it extending her arm to the tv. "W- what" Jason said confused looking to Natalie. As he said that Natalie blurted "Wanna do something? Like go somewhere? I'm bored." Joe Wales back I check in checking the time. He kept his phone out lowered to his lower abdomen. "I mean it's only 4:30" He said looking at Jason as he stood in front of him. Jason brought his hands up a bit then throwing them back down as he let out a breath saying "I mean-" he took in another slow breath. "Yeah sure I guess it's really whatever" as his words trailed off getting quieter as the sentence went on. He stood up as Natalie started jumping around all excited and Joe doing the same just to carry on. They bother started jumping in front of each other squealing random things as if they were little girls I mean- Natalie's shor- (got the shit smacked out of me🤣🤣🤣) Jason rolled his eyes but couldn't help but laugh at the two children-at-heart dummies. He came back out throwing his white vans to the ground and dangling his keys. "If we're goin we're goin yuh goin?" Natalie and Joe stopped jumping and the three sat in silence. Natalie ran to the room to get her shoes as Joe blurted "That was the most dumb ass thing I've ever heard" Just as they heard Natalie practically screaming a laugh from the bedroom. They both bursted out laughing; Jason not being able to breath. Natalie came back out and Jason tried to slowly stop laughing as he held his arm out. "Come on baby girl" He said as Natalie went next to his and he lowered his arm around him. "Oh my god" Jason said beginning to laugh again. Joe was right beside Natalie just a little behind. Jason removed his arm from around her as he opened the door and Natalie held it for them to go out. Jason lead the way to go start the car and as Joe walked out still tears in his blue eyes from laughing he glimpsed at her. He mumbled to Natalie as he walked passed
