Hey ya'll!! I've been inactive for such a long time and in that time I was thinking about what to do with my stories, the direction I want to go in, and this account in general.
In the end, I have decided that I will no longer be publishing on this account.
Here are the reasons why (if you're interested)
1. I started this account when I was about 14 and my writing ability and style has changed so much since then.
2. I feel like this account is really holding me back. Looking at my cringey writing from back then really makes me feel-- well, it makes me cringe. Which brings me to number 3.
3. I wasn't very good at writing when I first started and I think when people read the first story I ever published, they didn't look at the later chapters I published. And because they saw that story, they probably thought that the rest of my stories were like that, too. Unfortunate, but totally understandable.
As time passes and as you write more, you begin improving, and the latest chapter in a book can really reflect that. I just feel that because the first stories I ever published weren't great, they (the readers) didn't give the rest of my stories and my account a second thought and/or chance.
4. As a writer, my goal is to pique the interest of as many readers as possible, and I can't do that if many readers don't get a good impression of my writing.
5. I've watched so much anime (many of them I never even finished) that I'm not really familiar with the characters or plot anymore. I also am not caught up on newer anime, so I can't really cater to a larger, newer audience.
Now, don't get me wrong. I haven't given up on writing yet.
I'm thinking about creating 2 new accounts: one for my own original stories and one for anime/manga.
If I do decide to go through with it, I will publish them here!
As a parting gift from me and this account, I will leave ya'll with the one-shots I never got to publish.
