"Dear, Ayato,
I won't explain what happened exactly. I won't tell you why I ended up like this. Because I'm still angry with you, I'll leave you to figure it out by yourself. I will tell you, though, is that I know what you did.
I decided I couldn't go on. Seeing you with her... it hurt. It killed me.
As the memories of the two of us are all coming back to me at this moment, I'm beginning to question if you were genuinely happy being with me. I guess I'll never find out.
Anyway... I want to thank you. I want to thank you for the memories you gave me. Bittersweet as it may be, I was genuinely happy back then. I also want to let you know that even though I have passed, I have forgiven you. I'm still angry, but you are still forgiven. I know now that I wasn't good enough. And I know that you probably don't care, but I needed to get this off my chest.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Harada Yuki.

Yomo had left Ayato to his own devices after taking him down to the basement. Shaking, Ayato lifted the plastic sheet covering your body, staring at your unmoving figure. The letter, which he had hastily read through once he was left alone, was stained with traitorous tears and flitted to the floor.
After mourning, he went back upstairs. Yomo was by himself this time and had begun to explain everything that had happened prior to his arrival.
"I know this will sound strange... but could you do me a favor and eat me?"
Yomo sat, and for the first time, was unsure of what to say.
"I don't want him to know that I had been attacked by a ghoul. I also don't want to risk you getting caught since you did, after all, save me. Once I get admitted to the hospital, word will get out quickly and I'll have the CCG questioning me the moment I get out from surgery. I'm a terrible liar so I would never be able to explain how exactly I escaped the clutches of a ghoul."
He let out a silent breath. He realized you were right; he couldn't risk the chance of him being found out.
"Now... If you'll hand me a pen, paper, and an envelope... I'll make it look like I disappeared or committed suicide or something. Ah-- and one more favor. Could you please deliver my letter to this address?"
Shortly after you had passed, Yomo picked up the envelope and looked to see who you had addressed it to. At that moment, Touka had come in to help Yomo figure out what to do with the body.
Touka saw the letter and was more than shocked to see her brother's name written on the back of the envelope.
It turned out that right before Ayato had walked into the cafe, Touka and Yomo were trying to figure out if you knew Ayato was also a ghoul. Either way, the two of them decided it was best to leave the decision of what would happen to your body to him.
"She didn't... She didn't know..." Ayato had grumbled softly.
About an hour later, Ayato had left the cafe. The entire way back to his apartment, he stared at the small spots of blood on his shoes.
It had hurt him to do it, but it was for both your sakes.
The girl he was with, he thought, was just a source of food. She was just food. The sex was just a way to lure her in.
But you'll never know that.
