It's Christmas morning! I wake up without falling out of my bed desperately wanting to go back to sleep. I run down to the living room and of course I'm the first one up. I hear the back door open and it's Benjamin. He walks up to me and gives me a kiss, "Merry Christmas Jessie Belle." He hands me over a small box wrapped up in glitzy candy cane wrapping and a red bow. I smile and accept the gift. I open it with grace, but very quickly. It was a gorgeous bracelet that was covered in beautiful sapphire diamonds. It was absolutely breathtaking. "Benjamin oh my! Thank you!" I give him a hug and then pause and give him a kiss.
"Your welcome. My mama helped me pick it out yesterday." He chuckles a bit.
"Well I love it." I say as I put it on.
He smiles, "I get to spend Christmas with a true love this year."
"Me too." I smile.
"And you're not my Freddie Kruger no more. You're my Prince Charming."
He smirks while giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"Merry Christmas!" The Patsy's scream.
I cover my ears and Benjamin and I both start laughing out loud.
Our parents then come down stairs and we all huddle around the tree opening gifts.
My dad then hangs a mistletoe over Benjamin and I as a joke. Everyone yells "Kiss kiss kiss kiss!" We then both smile at each other and kiss while everyone hoots and hollers.
Meanwhile, Benjamin and I are in love and our family is all here.
This Christmas has turned out to be the best ones yet.
