Chapter Four

Chapter Four - Being Named As Guilty

GRACE'S POV

I slowly opened my eyes and I couldn't put a finger on how I reached my room. It still looked dark outside. I held my head in my hands as I felt a strong pain on my forehead. I felt a little dizzy, so I just stilled there for a few moments.

I felt a bandage on my forehead and I was really worried. I took deep breaths and finally got down the bed and walked out. I stepped out of the room and heard a few voices.

"...hope, too. She's a strong woman and will be fine." I heard Dory's voice and I didn't know who they were talking about.

"Who is a strong woman?" I asked and everyone in the room turned to me. They all rushed to me and I felt light-headed. Alex immediately rushed to me.

"You're not supposed to be out of bed," Alex muttered as he carried me inside and got me on the bed and covered my body with sheets.

"I'm fine. Tell me what happened and all this?" I asked as I touched my forehead.

"Ace, a little boy hit you with stone and you fainted," Alex said and I gave him a weird look.

"I fainted by a stone?" I questioned looking at him, unable to believe what he just said. He just nodded at me.

"It's weird," I said to him and he shook his head, then caressed my forehead.

"I think, we can leave now. We were waiting for you to come to conscious." Sierra said to me and I gave them a pout.

"Oh, come on! Not now! We'll swing by next week or so." Alicia said and I gave her a big smile. She laughed and both of them came forward to hug me, that I accepted gladly.

"You guys promised and you have to come to meet me," I said like a little kid and they nodded. I tried to get up but everyone stopped me in a moment that I got scared. I laughed.

"That is too much caring, now " I almost sounded scolding.

"It's never too much, for you," Alex muttered looking straight in my eyes and I blushed.

The morning came with a strong hit of puke and dizziness. I had to rush and I had no option but to puke my life out in the bathroom. I wished I knew the reason for this sickness that was eating me alive.

"Ace, what happened to you?!" Alex almost sounded yelling but was scolding me. It was like I wasn't taking care of myself.

"I don't know! It's not like I'm a doctor!" I yelled at him, annoyed, all of a sudden. Alex gave me a confused look and came to soothe me down, but I stopped him.

"Leave me alone, this instant!" I yelled at him again. He left the bathroom and smashed the door as I sat down crying.

"What is happening to me?! Oh, God." I said to no one in particular but couldn't stop the tears.

I was dressed up in a black skirt and white silk shirt. My hair in a ponytail. I walked out feeling my mood sour, from the morning incident.

"You don't want breakfast?" Dory asked as she saw me go out without a word. I gave her a look and then sighed. I picked up two sandwiches and a chocolate bar from the fridge and smiled at her before leaving.

I walked into my cabin and sat working, arranging up things for the meeting. Martin came trudging into the cabin, still looking half asleep even though he had a suit on.
