ALEX'S POV

My heart beat faster in my chest as I thought about all the wrong things happening to my wife and our children. I shut my eyes tightly, wanting to stop the wrong images from flowing. This wasn't my exact plan to celebrate my birthday.

"Xander, it's time now." Moses said. Moses had called the paramedics on hand, just for safety. Since Grace was pregnant and if any treatment was needed then, it would be better if we had them.

Not that I want her needing those medics. All rushed. Sebastian had got quiet a good network. The warehouse was near and my heart was beating hard and fast against my chest, wanting to know about my family who was trapped.

"Let's go!" Moses said through the walkie and everyone nodded at each other. The entire place was surrounded with cops and there was no escape. Once I lay my hands on them, they won't be breathing anymore.

As we slowly walked in, the first step into the warehouse, a gunshot was heard followed by a scream. My body shivered knowing the owner of that scream. I was about to rush when Moses and his guys caught a hold of me.

My eyes were bloody red in fury. Moses gave them a signal and everyone rushed faster inside. We all were rushing towards the where the gunshot was heard. The speed felt slow and my heart beat faster.

We walked towards the door and was about to open when a range of gunshots went through. My heart stopped beating. I didn't know what to do anymore. Then a loud scream was heard under my name.

"Alex!" It was her, my life. I pushed the door open to see a view that I'll never forget in lifetime.

Grace was on the floor with her leg bleeding. Sebastian and Brittany seemed to be shot multiple times and they're bodies were on the floor. The whole place seemed bloodied.

In a flash I found myself kneeling in front of Grace.

"Alex..." Her words barely audible, a whisper of uncertainty.

"Yes, I'm here. Please hold on for me and our children. Please, Ace." Tears threatened to fall seeing her in such a pain.

"We have to deliver the babies now, there is no other way." The paramedics mentioned. I just nodded.

The officers left the room and I stood there with Grace clutching my hand. She was helped up on the bed and her screams were getting louder.

"Ace, it's going to be fine. Just hold on." I muttered to keep her motivated. She was pushing and I felt my hand being squeezed as tightly as it could. I felt her pain.

"You have to push. Now." The doctor said in a rush and Grace put her strength and gave a hard push and a child's cry was heard. My eyes went up and then back to Grace who was struggling with herself.

"Ace, please, please one last time." I pleaded. I was still fazed unknown about the entire outcome of this situation.

"Alex, I can't." She whispered. My body was about to give up but I didn't let it.

"Grace Alex Chadwick, is this how you're going to give up on us and our boy?! Is this how?! You have to hold on! You have to!" She looked at me and tears continued down her eyes but she nodded.

"Ahh!" She screamed as she gave one last push and another cry was heard. My eyes closed on the accord and tears fell down my eyes.

"You did it, Ace, you did it." I said to her while I wiped away her tears.

"Alex...I...did it." Those were her last words as she closed her eyes. My eyes widened.

"Ace!" I screamed in fear.
