15-This Time, I Won't Be Late.

GRACE'S POV

Celia left me at the building and left for the mansion. She wanted to go home because she had her shift in the morning. I bid her a goodbye and walked towards the elevator.

I felt a little conscious of someone's presence. I gulped down and looked around to see if anyone was there at all. I saw the guards talking to each other, but that's it.

I shook the feeling and got into the elevator and pressed the button and it went up. I felt a little packed but it soon went away as I got to the top floor.

I rung the door bell and waited. I still felt eyes on me. It was really impossible and I was being paranoid. I shook my head and walked inside as Alex opened the door.

"Hey, something wrong?" He asked looking at my pale face.

"I'm really tired. Can we go to sleep?" I asked and snuggled into his chest as we walked towards our room. He wrapped his arms around me and caressed my hand.

"Sure, you go to sleep, I have some work." He said and I hummed.

"But sit besides me, okay?" He nodded and I went to change into comfy clothes.

I was alone and it was too dark to even see what was going on. I felt scared at the amount of darkness. I see nothing but it was way too cold for me.

I felt eyes on me. I looked around and suddenly found myself locked in chains. I tried to pull but no avail. I saw someone with pitch black eyes and fear crept into me.

"Who are you?" I asked trying to put on a brave face, but my shivering body gave away the truth of me.

"Aren't you little too curious? Don't you know, curiosity killed the cat?" He asked and laughed evilly. I felt a sharp pain in my belly as he kicked me, hard, and I saw blood surrounding me.

I gasped. My big belly was no more big, it flatted out and I realised that my babies were no more.

"No!!!" I yelled loudly and suddenly it was too dark, again.

"Ace, what's wrong?" I heard Alex's voice and my fear was so evident on my face. I shivered and tears fell down my eyes. Alex hugged me tightly but I had no strength to hug him back.

I cried with heavy tears flowing down my eyes. The sobs screamed fear and pain.

"Ace, you're scaring me, please tell me what's the matter? Was it a nightmare that got you so afraid? Ace, speak up!" He yelled worriedly.

"Alex, someone is out there! Our babies...I was chained and he kicked me...and...and...our babies were bleeding out...Alex! My babies!" I cried. Everything felt so real.

"No! Nothing happened and everything will be fine, okay? Our babies are all right. See..." He took my hand and made me touch my belly where I felt the roundness and rigidness of it.

"I...I saw..." I took in deep breaths and touched my nose feeling that blood would deep out any second and it did. I heard shuffle and Alex had got cotton that I put on my nose.

"Lie down, Ace. I don't want you to fall unconscious. It'll harm three of you." He said concerned and I nodded.

"Alex, lie down with me." I was vulnerable at the moment and I needed him. I couldn't bare to be alone after the horrendous nightmare.

"Yes, just a second." He put his glasses away and the laptop. He used a bathroom and then came to lie besides me. I snuggled into him as my bleeding nose got calm.
