I sigh as I flick through the channels on the TV. "Boring, boring, boring" I mumble to myself before switching it off. I stand up, heading to the kitchen for food. I'm not exactly hungry but I'm bored and I eat when I'm bored. Seeing there's nothing I want, I pout slightly to myself. With James not around today, it's very boring and quiet. He's at work, shooting for a movie. But at the moment, I'm not talking to him. What's the reason?... well, it's kinda stupid actually. He scared me yesterday making me fall and hit my elbow off the coffee table, he also stole my chocolate chip cookie and ate the rest of it. I was not happy about that. I know it's childish, but in my defence, I am five years younger than him and he knows how much I love cookies. I throw myself back onto the sofa with a huff. I soon find myself hanging upside down on the sofa.

Later

I have been upside down for about three and a half hours now and I'm starting to feel a bit dizzy. At that moment, I hear keys in the front door and the squeak of its opening. "Y/n?" James questions as he walks into the living room. He chuckles when he sees my state "what are you doing?". I sigh before pointing to the notepad and pen on the table. He passes it to me. I'm bored. I pass it back and he reads it. He chuckles again as he sits next to me. "Are you still not talking to me?" He sighs. I slowly sit up the right way round before crossing my arms. "I'm taking that as a yes" he smiles slightly. I nod, leaning back into the sofa. He nods "okay, but I have a surprise for you". I look at him, curiosity was written on my face. He smirks slightly "well, now that I have your attention, I suppose I should get it". I shrug, making him chuckle before standing up. He heads back to the front door and I hear the crunch of a paper bag. He comes back with his hand behind his back. I sit up, interested in what he's got. He smiles as he raises the brown paper bag in the air. My mouth drops open when I see its big chocolate chip cookies, six of them. He chuckles before sitting next to me again "So, here's the deal, if you want a cookie, you'll need to talk to me". I pout, eyeing the bag. He puts the bag on the coffee table. I look at him with a playful glare making him laugh. He smiles before moving closer to me "listen, you're killing me, so you leave me no choice". I raise an eyebrow but my confusion quickly diminishes when I feel his hand on my waist and see a glint in his eye.

Suddenly he starts tickling me, making me laugh loudly. He chuckles "you got something to say now?". I shake my head, refusing to speak but that only makes him continue to tickle me relentlessly. I eventually break "okay! You win, just stop tickling me!" I yell and he pauses momentarily. He smiles "hmm, I think I change my mind. I like making you laugh". I feel his hand on my side but I quickly stop him from continuing. "You win! Just give me a cookie" I pout making him chuckle "I don't know...". "Give me a cookie!" I yell. He laughs as he gets the bag from the table and takes a cookie out, then puts it back. "What's the magic word?" He teases. I pout even more "please? Jamie, give me the cookie". He chuckles "okay, but you need to kiss me first". I blush and sigh "fine". I lean up to him but before our lips could meet, I quickly take the cookie from him and lick it. "Hey!" He exclaims. I stick my tongue out at him "I licked it, so it's mine". He chuckles, shaking his head as I happily start eating the cookie. "You're cute, you know that?" He sighs. I shrug as I finish my cookie. We spend the rest of the day watching movies, eating cookies and cuddling on the sofa. I don't think life gets much better than that.
