"Things fall apart, people leave and others will lie and break promises, it's all part of life and growing as a person."
I walked around my bedroom, Jupiter sat quietly on my bed, playing with her hands in her lap. I couldn't understand this girl, she was a hard one to read.
She wasn't anything like the other girls I've encountered over the years, she was outspoken and frankly, quite wild.
Dakota warned me before Jupiter moved here, I wasn't that great of friends with Dakota but I did however grow up with Shiloh, so they first warned me when the Rory's were moving here.
Saying that Jupiter was crazy, and use to be reckless in her old hometown, often getting kicked out or hanging with the wrong crowd.
Dakota was over the moon thrilled when Jupiter moved here, saying she was one of her bestest friends.
Than, Zeke of course had to befriend her, the same day she threw herself in front of my car, nearly denting the poor thing.
"What's going on inside that head of yours?" She questioned, looking up at me with her big brown eyes.
Some days, I find myself getting lost in them as cheesy as it sounds. They hold so much innocence, and when the light hits them, there's gold flecks in them.
"Just thinking is all." I replied, giving my head a shake when I hear Cameron shout up to me.
He was my favourite sibling, even though he technically wasn't my sibling, but my cousin.
I close my bedroom door behind me; following Jupiter down the steps, into the living room where my parents were sitting on the couch.
"Jupiter, your back! Did you go to Noah's game?" My mother questions, before shooting me a sly smile.
In their eyes, Jupiter was the first girl I've ever brought home, the first normal girl that I'm dating.
My dad adores her, always saying how comical she is while my mothers already planning out our wedding, so when I do end this little deal with Jupiter, I know for a fact my parents will actually miss her company, as I will.
After Jupiter finishes chatting with my parents, we leave. Arlo in Cameron's car and Jupe in mine. We head out, searching for somewheres to eat at.
We ended up at a Wendy's.
We went inside, ordered our food before sitting down. I was zoned out the entire time, every so often being jolted back to reality when Jupiter laughed next to me, her body shaking and her arm brushing mine lightly.
She chatted with Cameron and Arlo while I sat there quietly, chewing on some french fries. It was hard trying to figure her out.
Sure, she was outgoing and quite charismatic.
But she was also built of many mysterious, so many at a time. And one of the biggest ones might ruin this whole fake dating-scheme.
Vegas was a magical place.
After we finished eating, the boys headed out and I was taking the long way back to Jupiter's house, down a small dirt road that led around the town.
The radio was playing and she sat there quietly, chewing her bottom lip nervously, "Are you okay?" She blurts, glancing over at me.
I stare at the road ahead of us, clicking my tongue against my teeth, "Yeah, why do you ask?"
