"Sometimes it's best to let go, and if the love was strong enough, it'll return."
It was the last day of November, when I first woke up to get ready for school my parents called up telling me it was canceled.
All I could think about was the two puppies we found last night, and whether or not Noah brought them to the shelter this morning.
Glancing outside, everything was covered in a layer of snow, as it continued to fall from the sky. I squealed out, pulling on a heavy jacket before running downstairs.
"It's snowing!" I exclaimed, running into the kitchen where my parents both were.
Dad was sipping his coffee, reading the newspaper he had in his hands while mom was making a sandwich for herself.
"Don't tell me your going out in just that," Mom drawls out, looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
I shrugged my shoulders, I was in a pair of fuzzy pyjama pants and a sweatshirt, along with my winter jacket. I slipped on socks before running downstairs.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," I replied, pulling on a pair of my uggs.
I pull open the front door, grinning when my eyes landed on the front lawn, covered in snow.
"While your out there, clean off our cars!" Dad shouts out, causing me to snort.
I pulled on a pair of gloves, grabbing the broom. I wipe away the snow from my moms car before moving onto my fathers. Grabbing a shovel so I could do up a small path for them to make it to their cars.
After I was finished with that, I start building a snowman, every first snow fall of the year I'd always run out early in the morning to build a snowman, it was just something I did every year.
I loved the snow.
That's when I was tackled to the ground, rolling over a bit before looking up at the culprit. My eyes narrowed at him as he snickered down at me.
"Bellamy! You asshat!" I shouted, grabbing a handful of snow, smooshing it in his face.
He rolls off of me, wiping the snow away from his face when I was attacked by snowballs, "No one hurts my twin!" Tyson screamed out.
I duck away from them, shielding my face, "This isn't fair! There's two of you!" I cried out.
The front door to the house slammed shut and I glanced over, my eyes landing on Venus who stood there smirking.
She runs towards the front lawn, grabbing snow and balling it up in her hands before hurling them at the twins.
"That's what I'm talking about!" I screamed out when she hits Tyson in the head.
He on the other hand wasn't happy and went running straight for Venus.
After a half hour passed, we all followed each other inside, sitting in front of the fireplace while sipping away at the hot chocolate Dad made for us.
