"A whirlwind of emotion, I'm barely standing still, yet can't seem to move forward."
My phones rings and I bring it to my ear, looking at myself in the mirror, "The Rory phone, who's calling?" I questioned.
He laughed on the other end, "You sound quite chirpy, you better be dressed because I'm on my way to get you now." He replied.
"Good morning to you too, Noah." I state.
I decided to wear a yellow long sleeve underneath my black overalls. Matched off with a pair of my black boots.
I braided my hair and didn't fuss with any make up.
I hear him grumble on the other end, "Here." He says, before hanging up.
I snickered out, peaking out of my bedroom window, watching as he pulled into the driveway. I grabbed my small black bag before leaving my room.
No one else was around, when I first woke up I could hear some commotion going on downstairs. But it was noon time and no one was here.
I locked the front door behind me and made my way to his car, feeling my hands shake slightly.
He leaned across the passenger seat and pushed open the door for me. I slipped in and closed it behind me, buckling in.
The radio was on and playing some random song, and when my eyes landed on Noah they widened slightly.
His hair was messy, he was wearing black jeans and a black long sleeve. He looked nice.
"You ready?" He questions, pulling off onto the main road.
I shook my head, "Not at all, how many people are going to be there?" I replied, playing with my hands in my lap.
Noah glanced over, smirking at me, "About that, it's going to be my dads family there." He states and I felt my heart drop in my chest.
"Please explain," I snapped, narrowing my eyes at him.
Although he didn't seem to notice my clear frustration, because he continued to laugh under his breath.
"My uncle Chandler, his wife and five children, and a grand baby," He begins, turning down a street.
"Plus my aunt Hilary and her husband Micheal, plus their five children and two grand baby's." He added on, grinning widely at me.
I wanted to murder him.
I was expecting just dinner with his parents and siblings, not his entire family.
What if they didn't like me or approve of me?
"I hate you," I whined out.
Noah rose an eyebrow, "I already know girl, don't gotta keep reminding me." He shot back.
The drive didn't take long and when he pulled up in front of the house I could feel my anxiety growing.
