Chapter 17 first day back to work

A week later.
Jimmy was at his office for his first day back at work and just as Jimmy said all the questions are being thrown at him.
Jimmy POV
I have missed this view from my office. New York is so pretty and all my fans went nuts when I tweeted I was back to work today. It also feels wired being married again to and wearing a ring. I need to call Ail to make sure she ok. Has Jimmy got his phone out there was a knock at the door.
Come in!
Ail: hey baby!! Surprise
Jimmy: honey what are you doing here and how did you get here don't tell me you drove here.
Ail hug Jimmy no baby I didn't I promise and what am I doing here well I work here and I also wanted to see my husband.
Jimmy hugs Ail back. Thank you, honey I was about to call you actually to make sure you were ok. I didn't know you were back to work?
Ail: yeah about that I forgot to tell you I was back at work. At least my job won't put any stain on me and the baby just sitting behind a desk.
Jimmy: has long as you feel up to working and know what you're doing then I support you. Hey, honey, I have an idea don't normally do this but why don't you work in my office with me. Jimmy goes up behind Ail and puts his arms around her waist and put his hands on her stomach rubbing it and kissing her neck.
Ail puts her hands on Jimmy's hands and leans into Jimmy kiss. Are you sure you wouldn't get into trouble? I would love to be in the same office as you.
Jimmy: nope it's my office. That way we can spend more time together as well and you won't have far to go if you need to tell me something or give me paperwork.
Ail: I love the idea baby. Ail breaks free and turns around to look at Jimmy.
Jimmy: are you ok?
Ail: yes ail takes Jimmy's hands. Look I don't tell you this enough but thank you for coming into my life again and changing it for the better. Not in my wildest dreams did I'm ever thought I would be married to the one and only James Thomas Fallon.
Jimmy smiled and held her hands tightly. You know I love when you say my full name it's just something the way you say it. I should have acted on my feelings a long time ago and not let you walk out my life for so long. I thank you for taking a chance on me and for going through all you have since we been together.
Before Ail could answer jimmy office door fly open. Steve standing there out of breath.
Jimmy: shit pal are you ok?
Steve: man I tried to stop them from coming up but they pushed past everyone.
Jimmy: who pal?
Steve: The press!!!!
Jimmy: shit..Ail hid behind Jimmy putting her hand on his back. It's going to be ok honey I knew this was going to happen. I just don't think Ail is up to being in the papers right now and I don't want to put any stress on her or the baby.
Steve: I know Jimmy and I know Ail is not up to it by the way she is hiding behind you right now.
Ail dug her nails into Jimmy back making Jimmy turn round. Are you ok Ail.
Ail: yeah sorry mild cramps I didn't mean to do that it was just painful and took me off guard.
Steve: that's normal for 8 weeks. You may not be showing yet or for a while but your body is already growing with baby Fallon.
Ail goes and sits down. Honey, I'll be right back ok
Ail: ok baby.
Jimmy Jimmy over here the press was yelling at him.
Jimmy: what can I do for you all?
Press: where is your wife
Jimmy: She is resting but she ok.
Press: why are you wearing a wedding band after you said you would never wear one again.
Jimmy: Things change and I am happy to wear one again. If you all don't mind I need to get back to work good day to you all. Jimmy walks back to his office and sees Ail laying on the sofa. Jimmy walks over to her and sits at the end of the sofa.
Jimmy: Ail are you sure your ok?
Ail:  Yes I am sure it's normal to feel pregnancy cramps. I just didn't mean to dig my nails into your back.
Jimmy laughs its ok honey its a small price to pay I mean I did do this to you.
Ail: haha your funny and that is true though but it did take both of us.
Jimmy: Yes that is very true. Not trying to be rude but I need to get my notes and stuff done so let's get your office in here.
Ail: you're not being rude we both need to get working.
Jimmy moves Ail stuff into his office and lets her get to work.
Wow, what a crazy day it's been already. Lucky for me I was able this time to save Ail from the press but I don't know how long. I hate the press they always twist shit and say things you never said and Ail don't need that I am used to it she is not. Looking over and seeing her working so hard knowing she my wife now and she 8 weeks pregnant with my child is so magical. I hope Ail knows how much I love her. She is the best thing ever and so are my girls. I have the monologue rehearsal soon I better get everything together. Here comes Ail.
Ail: here is your notes you asked for and Mr. Fallon I love you.
Jimmy: thank-you honey and Mrs. Fallon I love you too.
Ail: seems still so strange being called Fallon now.
Jimmy smiles yes but I love it Albina Rose Fallon.
Ail smiles I will kiss you now because I have a writers meeting in few minutes.
Jimmy kisses Ail back you call me if you need me ok.
Ail: of course I will but I'm going to be ok so is baby Fallon.
They both walk out of the office and go different ways. Life is just getting started for them both will it be clean sailing we will see what is to come for them both.
