Chaper 9 heartbreak

Couple months later jimmy was in his office looking out over Manhattan when Steve opens the door.
Steve: dude you ok you been quiet today,haven't seen you walk around the building today? 
Jimmy: hey dude,I'm ok just have things going on in my head.
Steve: you need to talk about it?
Jimmy: dude I'm not even sure where to start on this.
Steve: dude start wherever you want I have all the time.
Jimmy: dude I love Ail so dang much it kills me when we are not together,it's hard to believe we almost been a year together. I want to ask her to move in with me I want to make the next step,but I am sacred. I have been here before and it failed. What if she gets tried of me,what happens if I can't give her children. Mean my x wife took my girls with her and I haven't been able to see them since no matter how badly I fight in court. I just don't think I can go through that again. I freak out when she brings up marriage and children and then I change the subject and it upsets her.
Steve: it's a hard place to be dude everyone knows how much Nancy and the kids meant to you for her to get up and leave in the middle of the night was the most horrible heart breaking thing. I remember when you called me when you got home to an empty apartment no kids toys no clothes nothing all had been taken. Then the note saying we over I found someone else and the girls are with me your never see them again. We all was so happy when you moved on with Ail the way you are with her is something I haven't seen in a long time. I don't think the scars of being hurt will ever go away,you have to remember she not your x wife. If your not ready then don't put her through this.
Knock knock
Jimmy: hang minute dude. Who is it?
Ail: it's Ail I have some paper work for you.
Jimmy: come in honey.
Ail walked in and in her mind she started to freak out she could feel something wasn't right.
Ail: here is the paper work you asked for and all the names of guests for the month and also your notes. I hope I didn't get you at bad time.
Jimmy: no not at all honey and thank you for all your hard work.
Ail: no problem baby I.I.I mean jimmy.
Jimmy: honey you can call me all you want when we not on stage so don't worry ok.
Ail wants to the door and opens it looks back..ok baby and then smiles.
Jimmy: honey?
Ail shut the door without letting jimmy finish what he was about to say.
Steve: what just happened..?
Jimmy: I have no idea,she don't normally leave without saying she loves me,ugh this is why I am sacred.
Steve: jimmy I am sure it was because I was here I could see she was sacred after calling you baby. I think you need to talk to her let her know it's ok to be together no matter where you are.
Jimmy: I think you are right,she couldn't wait to get out of here.
Steve: I don't think it was like that maybe more embarrassed I would say
Jimmy: maybe your right dude.
Steve hey dude let me go chat with her ok.
Jimmy: I don't know I don't want her thinking I can't talk to her.
Steve: remember jimmy her dad made her godfather her dad was a good man and has been in the same business has us till the day he died. She going to know we talk. I won't make it any worse I promise.
Jimmy: ok dude thanks.
Steve walks out of Jimmy office and knocks on the door of Ail's.
Ail: who is it?
Steve: it's Steve.
Ail: oh come in.
Steve: are you ok Ail?
Ail: yes I just half expected it would be jimmy that's all.
Steve: I think you know what's going on with him and I don't think you know how to help it and maybe even gave up trying to prove to him that your not his x wife. Am I right?
Ail: you could say that. I am at lost ends right now. I love that man more then he will ever know,I don't know what more I can do to prove to him I won't do them things that's not me.
Steve: sweetheart he knows trust me he knows.
Ail: since LA he kinda pulled away from me. I'm left wondering what I did so wrong,did I do wrong by going with him or showing myself to him. Papa I'm so confused.
Steve: come sit here with me.
Ail walks over to Steve sits down Steve hugs her tightly. You haven't done nothing wrong he has scars no one can take away or heal. He has been going through a lot with co workers he was close to leaving to his moms first anniversary then worrying about the show and then LA. He also missing his babies he hasn't seen them in 3 years.
Ail: wow. He don't talk much about that side of his life some times I wonder if I know him at all like I thought I did.
If he not ready for this relationship why don't he just say it.
Steve: sweetheart he is truly ready for you both to be has one he wouldn't have said live in TV your the love of his life if he truly wasn't ready to commit to you.
Ail: that's true I never thought of that.
Steve: don't blow things up to be something they are not sweetheart,that won't help you or him or your relationship,you both have an amazing love and don't ever lose that.
Ail: I won't not ever and thank you papa.
Ail gives Steve a hug and kiss and she gets on with her work has she behide.
Jimmy POV
Come on dude you need to over come this. I know I love Ail with all my heart,I can't let this get in away of me and her this wasn't her fault. I know she next door but I don't want people to see I have been crying so I'll text her to come to me.
Honey can you come to my office please if your not busy.
I need to just get things off my chest I just need to ask her to move in.
Knock knock.
Jimmy: who is it?
Ail: me.
Jimmy jump out his chair ran to his door and open it and just pick ail up into a tight hug.
Ail: baby are you ok?
Jimmy: just hug me tight
Ail: ok baby I am not going to let you go,I'm sorry earlier for not letting you finish what you was about to say.
Jimmy sits on the sofa and puts Ail on his lap. Why did you leave so fast you never leave without saying you love me that's like our thing just like kissing me before I go out on stage has good luck which something you haven't done in a few months. Have I don't something wrong?
Ail looks at jimmy clear in the eyes. No you haven't done anything wrong I have been so bogged down with work that it's been really hard to come and see you before you go out. I left because I felt so embarrassed it just slip out of my mouth.
Jimmy: honey all you had to do was tell me and I would have come to you I also have missed you doing my shirt and tie and checking I haven't left the barn door open. Never be embarrassed you can call me whatever wherever your my girlfriend.
Ail giggles. Your funny baby and I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just know you been different since we got back from LA and I felt I went through that for nothing.
Jimmy: I love that laugh. I am sorry I made you feel that  I need to open up to you a lot more then I do.
Ail: you know I'm free to talk when ever you need,I'll do anything for you.
Jimmy: honey I feel the same about you and I know you are I just haven't had this sort of relationship for a real long time. I have forgotten what it's like and what to do I guess.
Ail:  I told you you can call me at night early morning whenever if you need me. If I could be with you I could just hold you you won't have to say anything.
Jimmy: Ail I don't know if this is the right time or not but will you move in with me?
Ail still looking at jimmy kisses his lips and keeping him waiting oh heck yasssss I'll move in with you.
Jimmy: honey you had me worried then.jimmy brings Ail lips to his and kisses her deeply. Honey I just need you with me I want to make you mine. I do want kids with you I do want to get married to you I want all that you want. I just was stupid not to tell you I wanted them things too.
Ail rubs his chest knowing it's driving him crazy. You wasn't stupid you was sacred. You may be a famous celebrity but you have a life to and your human you have feelings and scars to and I understand more then most. I have never been in your situation. Before the car wreck my late boyfriend took an over dose and I found him. He never told me anything about how he was feeling or he needed help. He keep it all away from me he acted like nothing was wrong life was happy. James I don't want you doing the same thing to me I can't do that.
Jimmy: honey I am so sorry, I will never keep my feelings away from you ever again. I am sorry you had to go through that and then losing your mom and dad on top I can't imagine I mean I know what it's like to lose a mother.
Ail: only 2 weeks apart it all happened in 2 weeks. I promise you I'll never leave you either if we have problems we sort them out before anything else.
Jimmy: yes honey that's how it's going to be always.
Ail snuggle into jimmy chest. I needed this James I really did.
Jimmy holds her tight rubbing her arm. Me too. When we leave here tonight you want to come to our apartment and we move your self in tomorrow?
Ail: that sounds perfect. Only thing is I have no sleepwear.
Jimmy: don't worry about that I am sure I have an old dress shirt you can wear. I do have a share bed if it's to soon for you to sleep with me.
Ail giggles baby we already have slept together.
Jimmy: honey you know what I mean this is permanent sleep with me every night.
Ail: haha I know baby and I want to sleep with you permanently.
Jimmy I am so glad because I want that too.
Knock knock.
Jimmy show starts in 10.
Ail looks at jimmy,you want me to do your shirt and tie and your barn door that you have left open specially so I can shut it.
Jimmy was blushing. Yes please honey.
Ail dose jimmy shirt and tie and his pants zipper and sorted his hair your all ready to go baby. Ail kisses him deeply on the lips and jimmy kisses her deeply back and has he walked to the door I know now I'll have a fantastic show thanks to you and I can't wait for tonight I love you.
Ail: I love you too.
Ail POV
Wow my dream is coming true I am finally going to live with the man of my dreams. I love him so much I can't wait for tomorrow to get officially moved in he is truly amazing. I better go and get my work done definitely not staying behind tonight.
Ail goes to her office and dose her work while watching jimmy. She could see a huge difference in him since their talk. All she can think about is tonight and moving tomorrow.
