Chaper 22 maternity leave

A couple of months later Ail had recovered completely and was back at work. Jimmy had noticed that that Ail is very jumpy at loud noises. He is getting very worried about her especially now she is 7 months pregnant.
Jimmy walked over to Ail desk and pulled a chair to sit beside her. Hey, honey are you doing ok you seem so jumpy lately? I am baby. I think I have a little PTSD going on from what happened especially loud noises of doors which almost sounds like the set. Oh honey, what can I do to help? I don't think you can baby think it's something that has to settle on its own. Just as she was about to put her head on Jimmy shoulder baby fallon kicks real hard taken Ail breath away. Jimmy looks at her concerned and puts his hand on her stomach. Is everything ok honey? Yes, baby our little one just kicked so hard and that really hurt. I am sorry honey I guess baby fallon knows we are talking. Ail looks at Jimmy I need to tell you something! Ok honey I am listening has Jimmy puts his arm around her shoulders. I have been thinking a lot lately and I haven't really shown you how much I appreciate all you have done for me from the start to now so I planned a little dinner at our apartment tonight. Jimmy brushed Ail hair out of her face and lean towards her honey you show me every day you are carrying my child you love me for who I am you took on my two girls you got throw into everything so fast and you never left my side. I can't wait for our little date tonight it's very needed. I agree baby that's why I did it and I just needed to get that off my chest and how I was feeling. I appreciate it very much you have come a long way since being on my show you changed my life and I thank you for all you have done for me. Baby, you are my husband I knew what I was getting into when we started dating and I am sorry that your marriage failed for us to be together but I am glad it did so we can be where we are today. I am sorry to honey but here we Are now and I love only you and yes will still love Nancy she the mother of my kids but your now their mother and we need to look forward to our bright future with more kids to come. I agree baby and thank you for being so honest this is why I love you so much you don't keep anything back from me you tell me how it is and with Nancy I understand and it's normal I already knew that and I would never take that away from you or the girls. Jimmy puts the chair back and goes to his desk and sits down and walks when he gets a phone call.

umm well I am at work right now and it's almost show time... Jimmy looks up to see Ail telling him to talk to her. But yeah we can talk Nancy.

Ok, that's good. Let me get to the point. I need to say this..I am sorry for how I have acted since you got with Ail and married her. I was very bitter towards her. I didn't want you to be with anyone else again. I blamed her for a lot of things and I am so sorry and I wish I could tell Ail I was sorry but she won't talk to me and I understand that. I wouldn't want to talk to me after what I did either.  I appreciate your honesty but right now Ail has a lot going on and doesn't need any more stress on her or the baby right now. I can't say what you did didn't just upset Ail but it hurt me to more then I can say. You walked out of my life with my girls and then out of nowhere you turn up 4 years later. I thought you loved me. James, I fell out of love with you and I went the hard way round of telling you. Ail looks up and see Jimmy almost in tears. Ail gets up and goes behind Jimmy rubbing his shoulders for support. Nancy, I need to go it's almost time. Bye.
Jimmy pats Ail left hand. Thanks for coming over honey. You know when I need you without me saying a word to you. Well, baby, that's what wives do I have known you for so long I can feel you and all your emotions. Jimmy turn toward Ail pulling her onto his lap. Baby ain't I too heavy to sit on your lap I'm almost....Jimmy cut her off-putting his finger to her mouth. Eight months pregnant..no honey to answer your question. Jimmy puts his hand on Ail stomach I love you sitting on my lap pregnant or not.

An hour later show time.
Ail was sitting in Jimmy office watching him do his show. Ail looks down at her baby bump and puts her hand right where baby fallon is laying. My dear baby, you are so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy. I know he is going to give you all he can along with your sisters, they can't wait to meet you they kill you every morning but I am sure you know and feel them. Right on clue baby fallon kicks. Ha I knew you were listening, I have a feeling you are going to be like your daddy, baby fallon kicks again gosh ok please calm down, baby fallon kicks a few more times and yep you are like your daddy don't listen haha. Ail looks up the TV has Jimmy is finishing up the show a little different. What is he up too?
Guys I want to do something a little special tonight has you all know me and Ail are having a baby soon and she is going on maternity leave next week and me and everyone here at the tonight show wanted to say a huge thank you for all your work have a great maternity leave and we will miss you. The audience stood up cheering and clapping. Jimmy wink at the camera because he knew Ail would be watching.
Ail started to cry. I am so lucky to have him has my husband I love him so much. He is the man my dad would have dreamed of me having and I got it. Ail watch Jimmy do his high fives. She got up and started to pack her things for maternity leave. I can't believe I am going go have a baby in a month its crazy. Ail looks out the window, I am going to miss working here and working all together but I know I will be.

Jimmy comes into his office and sees Ail standing there rubbing her stomach. Jimmy stood there watching her for a few seconds before shutting the door. He unbottons his jacket has he puts his arms round her. Hey honey you look sexy has ever. Ail smiles as she turns round to him and you Mr. Fallon are looking hot in that navy blue suit. Jimmy smiles while biting his lip. Baby, you're being extra hot now. Ail kisses Jimmy and hugs him right. Thank you for the end show I wasn't expecting that at all. Honey, you are a big part of this show and we wanted to show you just how much we are going to miss you being here including me. I have shared this office with you for 8 months I am going go be so lonely without you Ail. Ail held jimmy face in her hands and rub his cheek. Baby, I am only going on maternity leave I'm not moving to the North Pole, Ail smiles at Jimmy. Funny honey very funny. I know but that's what it feels like, I understand baby I can't stand here and stay this isn't hard for me because it is but everything will be ok, we having a baby and many more to come. Jimmy smiled at Ail oh honey there will be more babies in our future. Jimmy smiled at Ail right honey let me get dressed and lets go home for the weekend and rest and play with our girls. Ail smiled ok baby. Jimmy come out of the bathroom ok baby lets go. Jimmy picked Ail things up and held her hand has they was saying goodbye to eveeyone. Monday will be a very different day for Ail and Jimmy.
